Question for Ohio??
Hi RJOh, The cash option values can be found by clicking on the Claiming tab and than clicking on the Cash Option Value tab in the left hand navigation bar (the Classic Lotto calculator can be found here as well). The odds for online games can be found under the specific page for that game, each game has an odds payouts tab.

Maryland Lottery Pick 4 drawing generates huge payout
yeah the odds of 12345 and your set coming out are the same. but are the odds the same for 100 people to play 2 14 23 27 33 on the same day in the same draw as 1 2 3 4 5 ?

50/50 Theory
Somebody here has referred to a 50/50 chance in the past. I think it was (and maybe still is) part of their signature. Something along the lines of there are only two posibilities, so I've got a 50-50 chance . I think it's much more a commentary about how high the odds are, so you just buy a ticket and hope, than about (mis)understanding the odds.

Post your scratch ticket results
I buy and take them home to scratch. I play only the scratchers with the best odds.

Monopoly (FLA Lottery $5)
I disagree, $10 LFL is EVERYWHERE and people are buying them, but the odds are 1:3,750,000 which almost 1 in 4 million (3/4 prizes still remain, when it drops down to 2 or 1 then the odds are really against you). Very few people buy Casino Action which is not in the instant machines either.

End of the roll odds?
Hello All, I'm new to scratcher world and appreciate this forum (learned much in a week of lurking). Question: Without being a store clerk or close to one, I imagine it's rare to get the 1st or last ticket of a roll. If you notice your ticket purchase is near the end.. (and not a big winner) do you generally buy more to check out the end or last ticket?

Applications of Probability and Statistics
I just updated the file above. The results are as of 02/19/11. I have 38 Groups making up 105 out of the 221 drawnings since the last Matrix change. Or 47.51% of the total drawnings. With the odds of winning the Grand prize at 1 in 195,249,054. I think you will have better odds from one of my 38 groups which make up almost 48% of the total drawning to date since the last matrix change. Good Luck Best Wishes

North Carolina: 2/1 - 2/28/2011

North Carolina: 2/1 - 2/28/2011
Yea, a man at the store told me they weren't through with them yet and he is still playing them, and winning, I guess......Thats 13 times out of the last 17 draws.....5 and 7, or 5 or 7.....What kind of odds is this? You can't even figure them. They have come out about 85% of the time and the odds for them to show up are probably around 12%..... This is why it is about impossible, unless you are rich, to play the NCEL and eat a decent meal every night.....lol....
