Your friend (and every other lottery player) should only be playing with money they can safely afford to lose. Even with $230 in straight bets, the odds are only 1 in 4 that they will get a hit. In other words, your friend would have to play $230 four days in a row in order to exceed the odds of losing. Of course, they could hit more than one of those four days, but that is what they call luck . (Or skill, if the person has cracked the code .)

The whole concept of a lottery is that the numbers drawn seldom match the numbers wagered on. Before these games are implemented, the government determines the probabilities of winning combinations, then adjusts the required winning combinations beyond those probabilities. In California, we had a perfectly good 6/49 Lotto game. The jackpots weren't stratospheric, but people won regularly. That was the way it started, but the state was not raking in as much money as they wanted, so they 'claimed'

Good, that's the right question, i do play, but i don't gamble.pick 4,5 and other games.the way you combine numbers is important you can play a numbr for a long time and it hit the opposite way, how much you spend is important.here's an example if i made a smart guess, i would play a pick 4 1 box to cover myself, but the main goal is to hit it straight, so istead of 1 mixed and $1 straight you take the dollar and break it into 2 possibilities 50 cents get you 2 combinations don't put all your mo
