Lottery Fraud??
Thanks for the heads up. The odds of winning are bad enough, we don't need some retailer with their thumb on the scale

DC-5? Disaster.
The straight odds are 1/100 000 for the Quinto and pays $50 000.
The odds on Jackpot kind of lottos are in the Millions for the jackpot and yet people play them anyway.
The Tx Cash 5 pays much less than that (I think) and yet the odds are many times worse than those.
But being able to pay pick 3 and pick 4 straight straight on the Quinto is of no use as they already have pick 3 and 4 games there, being able to play straight pairs for $50 for $1 bet is not so bad.
I don't know of any

New game: NY Sweet Million
Personally, I think lotto is a big waste of time and so is pick 10 borderline. I play very little in those. Take 5 is your best chance at a jackpot game and I guess sweet million is just take 5 with an extra ball though the jackout odds jump to 1:3.8 million. Mega less of a dream than lotto but still near impossible to hit. Pick 3 is obviously best odds with lowest payout and pick 4 is the ultimate dammit I'm one off game . I mean times are bad so people will try but if they try too hard just ma

Bulgarian lottery repeat probed
The numbers - 4, 15, 23, 24, 35 and 42 - were chosen by a machine live on television on 6 and 10 September.
The article doesn't state whether the machine is an RNG or a mechanical ball-type machine.
Does anyone know?
An official of the Bulgarian lottery said manipulation was impossible.
This is the standard argument used by lotteries that draw their numbers electronically, and I'm also skeptical about the mathematician's figures. At minimum, the odds of identical numbers

Can it pass the "So what" test?
The lotteries do their rigging in the odds/payout space; any type of deliberate encoding of the numbers runs the risk of being DEcoded.

Another dirty little secret to consider when playing mega in NY
Regardless of which computer generated the ticket numbers, terminal or central computer, the odds remain the same. Nothing to worry about.

$325 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls again
If players aren't stupid, they should know that doubling the price of a ticket is the same as doubling the odds
I don't follow you here. What does the price of a ticket have to do with the odds?

$325 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls again
Uhhh, unless you live one day in the future (and if you do, please let me know the MM numbers tomorrow) it's just Thursday.
And for the other post about PB states, it doesn't matter how many states Powerball or Mega Millions has, it's all about the total population and even with all the states Powerball has, Mega Millions still beats them out which makes how much they raised their odds a bit more of a joke. But then again the average person doesn't know or really care about the odds.
