TEST DRAW insider info for new Powerball. 17 & 7 are ON FIRE.
It just goes to prove what many players had said, The average players won't notice much change in their chances of winning/loosing once the odds are 1:100,000,000 or greater.

1 Billion Dollar Powerball Jackpot!
I think once it gets really big I will use more money to play even though I know the odds are the same.

This is what I got hammered for a couple of years ago, and BobP and Todd in an off way, kinda agree with me, although then it was a strict mathematical discussion. If you are talking strictly about odds, then the more tix the better. But if you expect to Win the jackpot, the number of lines played must approach the number of possible combos, simple as that, your actual odds of Hitting the top prize is not going to get much better unless your number of lines starts approaching that number of poss

The average supermarket in Florida sells more lottery tickets in a day then a club would buy for a draw. If you had all those tickets you would have the same odds as there are of that supermarket posting a notice a day after the draw they had a jackpot winner. How often does your ticket seller sell a jackpot winning ticket? There is a huge difference between improving the odds and actually ending up holding a winning ticket. I can cut the odds in half by buying two tickets, but they are st

Play on your own. The difference in odds is negligible...........and the lack of headaches is priceless.

Scratch-offs by the pack
I've never done it and probably never will. If I could and wanted to, though........I'd buy a roll of $20 tickets. Yeah, you only get 15 tickets in a $300 roll of $20 tickets in GA, but you supposedly (I would think) have a better chance at the bigger prizes (supposedly is the key word -- I could be wrong.....I don't know because GA doesn't post detailed odds on scratcher prizes like some states like SC do.....and I wish they would post the complete odds).

All Tennessee Players and Lottery Post Experts(Todd)
my bad I'm sorry, I read it too fast, If you were buying powerball #s and they give you a standard lotto ticket then the odds are much better. For every 20 million powerball tickets that TN's area sells, there really is a decent expectation that 2 of the free regular lotto tickets will have the identical numbers. In other words, suppose Tennesee's area sells 20 million powerball tickets, that means 4 million free regular lotto tickets are given out to customers (or should be lega

$1 scratch tickets-Worst Value-1 of every 25-30 tickets wins for me.
Despite the fact that $1 are indeed the worst odds in winning, my single biggest winner to date has been on a $1 tic. I hit $5000 (top prize)on a Fast 50 in the Massachusetts Lottery. Odds were 136,000 to 1. In fact they only print 150 top prizes out of the more than 50 million tickets printed. Talk about a needle in a haystack. Despite that win, I usually stay away from the $1 tix. Spin

Colorado Lottery investigates 21-time prize winner
I think some of the readers are comparing Colorado Cash5 with other states Cash5 game which are a lot harder and have larger jackpots. For example, Colorado Cash5 is a 5/32 game with odds of 1:201,376 of winning a jackpot of $20K while a game like Rolling Cash5 in Ohio is a 5/39 game with odds of 1:575,757 of winning a jackpot of $100K+. Just like playing other small payout games, spending lots of money on Colorado Cash5 might get you a lot of wins but not a lot of money. Buying all those ticket
