POLL: "All or Nothing" game
our local casino had its own keno game. it had 2 odds tables and you could chose which one to play at the time of purchase. i think this woud be an ideal solution to this, for poeple who want the large payout for taking only the highest odds, and for people who want the smaller but more regular payouts.
maybe there could be a choice, go all or nothing or play regular. decide at time of purchase.

Florida Lottery draws same Play 4 numbers
No that would be the odds of hitting it three times in a row. They are independent events and when you are comparing one to another its is just the odds of that number coming up. When 1958 came up there was a 1 in 10,000 chance that the next drawing would result the same numbers.

Florida Lottery draws same Play 4 numbers
Wow.The odd's of any Win 4 number hitting straight on any given night are 1 in 10, 000.So what are the Odds of the same # hitting straight two nights in a row?Correct me if i'm wrong, but does anyone know the odds of the same Play 4 # hitting straight two consecutive nights in a row?
1 in 10, 000 x 1 in 10,000= 1 in 10,000,000 ?

Florida Lottery joins Powerball
I know the matrix is changing for powerball, but why add some many to the white balls and take away from the red powerballs? Why not just add the same amount to both? would that make the odds of winning harder to win... I thought that 42 might be someones favorite powerball number and now that person would lose it... I would have just extended the white balls to 57 and then the red powerball to 44 or 45... would the odds still be close if powerball did this rather than 1 - 59 ( white balls ) and

try these tonight
That may be a better way to approach it, then the odds of being correct about the WB would be 50:55 and the PB 41:42

Complete Systems Failure (predictions)
The Birthday Paradox tells us the odds are 50/50 of a boxed match in any random set of 15 past drawn Pick-3 numbers you happen to look at.
I've only played the pick-3 game a few times but if the odds of getting a box hit are 50/50 when playing the previous 15 drawings then I may start playing it more.

Within the next 2 months...
Why is it when some people gamble they make these assinine statements that when I win Im gonna help everybody and give back to the church? As if there's some deep rooted guilt associated with winning the lottery,or winning lottery money is not as honorable as scoring in the stock market or inheriting it.Why do people feel that they have to be liberal with thier winnings in order to validate gambling to acquire it. I know a few people who gamble professionally for a living , and Ive never heard a

Powerball multi-state lottery game to change rules
Well, at better than 6/42 odds, you kick in the extra buck for $1 million CASH (don't be fooled by $1 million annuity).

Powerball multi-state lottery game to change rules
I understand what you are saying about the smaller prizes but if I want $50 or $100 I will just stop buying tickets. On the same point, if I ever beat Fantasy 5 odds I want more than $10K for it and if I ever beat 6/40 odds I want more than $250k for it and I am willing to kick in the extra buck for bigger prizes at those levels.
I am also willing to pay $2 for a base ticket because I understand the concept of inflation.
