What does everyone think about private raffles?
The raffle I found is only $20 to enter. I watched that raffle for that house. Wasn't it in Washington County? That sucks for that guy considering the market, not to mention his realtor probably has him trying to get the same price the sellers of the house could not get, hence the raffle. The details for the raffle are. Grand Prize is a house or $250,000 over 10 years or a lump sum of $175,000. Odds are 1 in 77,000. There is no cost to the winner except those costs which occur during norma

Start off with only 527 numbers ...not 1000 each day.
Hi Rakster... Don't use doubles on this reduction system. If a double hits go back to the last single and use that one to find your next single win. I look at it this way.... IF someone came to me and said.... what should I play .... I only play one time a year and that time is almost here..... what has the best odds ? I would say.... 1. Play single numbers ....not doubles or Trips. Singles hit 72% of the time or 3 out of 4 draws. So play only single numbers. What ever

Ohio Rolling Cash5 jackpot at $324,000
It becomes more right for a lot more people when its jackpot rolls to $600,000+ at those odds.

Pennsylvania Lottery Millionaire Raffle results
I have to agree Todd, I have already bought a 20 dollar scratch ticket and won nothing, and correct me if I am mistaken, a scratch ticket would have worse odds than the raffle? If a person does not normally take 20 dollar chances on the lottery, then its best to not take a 20 dollar chance on the raffle although it has good odds, one must be prepared to lose, its called gambling!

What to do with $1000 for lottery
Well 1 ticket is about 1 in 14,000,000 odds, and 1000 tickets is 1000/14,000,000 or 1/14,000. I still wouldn't spend $1000 on one drawing with 1/14,000 odds. It only takes 1! That's my vote.

Why do you play the lottery?
Being a very material guy, I voted Buy expensive things . I also do it to try to beat the odds of course.

Oddball combos (PB)
On one hand I totally agree with you, but on the other hand I play the types of games where the odds are the best, and the odds of a game being played such as the one from 5/24 are at about 8% right now. I lean towards the types of games that are played 65-68% of the time, not 8%. But all it takes is a lucky bounce.
