A QP Ticket: 5 Picks + 2 SAME Number Sets
The odds of that happening is about the same as picking the winning combination which proves when dealing with randomly picked QPs, almost anything can happen.

PA Cash 5 Changing Matrix
The change will be Feb 1. So the odds will go from 575,757 to 962,598. (x 1.67 increase in odds but only 1.25 increase in starting jackpot). I guess the 4/5 payout would increase too (closer to $500).They are giving a free QP if you purchase a block of 5. I personally don't like it. I guess the change was due considering you have pick 5 out of 30 balls T.Hunt but i dont like T.Hunt becasue it is RNG. It would have been more fair to increase it to 42 balls.

Are you a "serious" player?
Considering the odds of hitting any lotto game, I don't think there is such a thing as a serious lottery player, just some players willing or able to throw a lot more money at the games than others.
Gamblers have went bankrupt trying to beat casino crap, card, and roulette games where the odds are nothing even close to the astronomical odds on lotto.
High rollers, at the end of the year, are high losers

Poll: Michigan Mega Millions
Generally, not always, when more states are added the odds are changed to make it harder.

Poll: Michigan Mega Millions
How would having more states playing decrease the odds of winning? The matrix is what counts in a jackpot.

POLL: Motivation for playing
I play because I find the idea of me winning a jackpot way too hilarious to keep the odds at zero.

For the sake of being blunt...
Wheeling systems - they ring of Gail Howard. I have one of those pamphlets from the Stop Shop called How To Win The Lottery but I think a lot of the advice GH presents doesn't improve your odds other than if you wheel numbers you're now playing 10 tickets and your chances went up 10-fold. If I play 10 a drawing vs. 1 I will win 10x as often unless I am using a great system to get the numbers to wheel in the first place. I think there is a calculator on here (is there?) that would tell you what

what game does your state NOT have that you wish they did?
I am glad we do not have PB or MM in FL. The odds are too high in my opinion. I'd really like to see a 6/49 Lotto again. I realize why they switched to the higher matrix, but I'd rather have lower jackpots with better odds.
Otherwise, I am satisfied with the games they offer. After all, I can only spend so much money!!
