Hoosier Lotto
It is not hard to approximate how many tickets are live in each roll. I dont care what the sales figures are. If the odds are 1 in 7 to win a free pick ticket and last roll 200k won them then its a safe assumption that 1.4 million tickets or combinations are played. With 100 rolls even assuming only 1.2 million tickets per roll in play ( some are more some are less) you would think 120 million live tickets over time would crack a 12 million to one lottery (especially with a lot of birthday nu

Why they call it Scientific Games?
Using science to to calculate odds and payout amounts to show a profit also includes setting payout amounts such that covering enough combinations to likely beat the odds doesn't pay either. If it could be done, it would have been done already with the pick3 games. There's only a thousand possible combinations and if you're boxing the combinations there's only 220. With present payout amounts in most states covering 50% of the possible combinations and winning is a break even point, for s

Why they call it Scientific Games?
People who run lotteries know there's a science to doing it so they show a profit, they don't come up with odds and payout amounts by trial and error.

Feeling lucky? Try Washington State Lottery's new lottery game. Lottery officials announced a brand new game in honor of its 25th anniversary. Starting this Sunday, the odds of becoming an instant millionaire is about to go way up. You've never seen a Washington lottery ticket like this one. PowerBall was concerned when all those folks matched 5/5+0 for $200K using numbers they got from a fortune cookie. Lotteries know if players can improve their odds of winning any prize, they also will improve their odds of winning the jackpots too. Fixed payouts for the lower prizes are based on anticipated results. If those results cost more than anticipated, it's likely the game will be changed or discontinued.

Statistics from the prediction board should only be used as a guide because they can be misleading. For example I post predictions for WVa Cash25(6/25),Ohio Classic Lotto(6/49) and Hoosier Lotto(6/48) and a win in any of those games are treated the same while in reality the odds of 6of6 in Cash25 are 1:177K while the odds of a 6of6 in a 649 game are 1:13M, Cash25 has a top prize of $25K while most pick6 games have a minimum top prize of $2M. If I didn't also have predictions for Cash 25, it's

I won the Pick 3 (6 times in the last 30 days)
I've seen this trick before, posting 40 numbers for all states. The odds of hitting a straight in single drawing are 40:1000 and a box are 40:220 or ~1:5, multiply that by at least 50 mid-day and evening drawings for all the states and odds are you'll have at least 2 straight hits and 10 box hits somewhere in the country. To cover that many games you've got to spend 50 x $40 or $2000. Roadwrench, you need to come up something that hasn't been done so many times before.

A dollar and a dream true for PB and MM?
Yes, you only need one ticket to win, but buying more tickets increases your odds of winning.
