how often do you play powerball/mega millions in your state?
I feel I can get the odds down to 1:1 mill
Is that for the jackpot or actually getting your dollars back? If that's for the jackpot what are you odds of getting the money spent back.?

50/50 Odds
If the odds are 1: 200, the real chances are more like 1 chance of winning something, 199 chances of losing.

do the lotteries have people researching systems and methods?

NEW POLL: Have any of you met a lottery winner?
I live in a town of about 25,000 people and according to the Ohio Lottery website the last time I checked, there were 15-20 lottery retailers in the area(some only sell scratch-offs). I alway remind people of that when they suggest I pool my money with theirs to improve my odds of winning a jackpot. I figure at least 1,000 tickets are sold in the area for each drawing and I've never heard of anyone winning big so combining $10 with their $10 when they can spare it is not improving my odds of w

Florida Lottery won't pay $500,000 winner, called 'misprint'
I zoomed in on the video, I can see what happened. The 1 over the $500,000 is printed correctly but the 1 over the TH above was meant to be a 13 with something like THRTN or whatever. Somehow the right side of that got blocked. The odds of that happening exactly that way must be enormous in and of itself. I think the Lottery should pay them something, even a smaller prize, unless there are 10,000 other such tickets out there. What happened when they scanned the ticket at the Store, or di

New Florida Raffle
Yes the odds are very much better..I remember the last raffle Florida had...it was a great success. I made one mistake on that one , i bought all my tickets at the same time: the numbers are selected ramdomly so that one winning ticket number may appear at the head of the list and one at the end...etc...
Do yourself a favor and further spread your chances by buying you tickets over a week or two time...so that you are not locked into one specific slot of numbers.... I'd much rather be playin

$75M Texas Lotto jackpot claimed by business partnership
Why would it be any harder for a doctor to win with a quick pick than anyone else??? Quick picks are RANDOM. Are you assuming the odds are greater because there are not as many doctors playing the lottery as blue collar workers? Every individual has an equal chance of winning, no matter what his profession is or how much he makes for a living. Do men have a greater chance of winning then women? Do White people have a greater chance of winning than Black people? If you are saying that most

incredible story
I agree with you. Also I would like to point out that it's easier for me to believe that there are people out there who would do just about anything to get recognized. The guy who killed John Lennon admitted he was jealous, and that he felt that he was a nobody. He wanted a piece of the action and he got it. As far as notoriety goes.
I said earlier in this post that it's easier for me to believe someone going through the trouble, than believing the odds of something happening by chance. Let's
