did you play the raffle in your state?
Yes, I played the IL raffle for $20 and would do it again. I liked the payout-to-odds ratio.

Which game is hardest...
Well, if you're just playing Quick Picks, the Pick 6/25 technically is harder than the Pick 5/20 + 1/11. However, when applying a system, and comparing those 2 different types of games with the jackpot odds only being separated by a few thousand, the Pick 6 game could end up being the easier one in the long run. The reason for this is simply because of the fact the Pick 6 game is one pool of numbers whereas the Pick 5+1 game is 2 pools of numbers. The fact alone that the person using a system is

The vastness of the odds for a jackpot win...
Yeah, but just like sex: it's fun TRYING (to win the lottery). You also need to understand most of us know the odds, and SOME of us are not playing to win the jackpot, ie; I myself am aiming directly for a PB Pick 5 and $200K. Yeah, I know, the odds there are not so hot, but as a lot of us have said AD NAUSEUM: some folks bowl, golf, hunt, fish, go to movies, plays, broadway shows, car races, you name it, and those folks have no problem blowing THOUSANDS of dollars a year doing what

Calif. state workers bet the same lottery numbers 10 years -- and win
Am I right in saying that the numbers these people played had the same odds of winning 10 years ago as they did a few days ago?

If I reduce the MM or PB number pool by half and play 3o2e/3e2o...(?)
As far as the lottery not telling us about some odds that they don't define, are you suggesting that only mathematicians who work for the the lotteries knows about this and no other mathematicians have ever figured it out, or are you suggesting that there's some vast conspiracy among all mathematicians to never tell the rest of us that numbers (and balls, dice, cards, coins etc) have memories of previous results and the power to decide whether or not they'll come up again? No, you are misin

Wiscosin's million dollar draw.
It's better odds than Megabucks or Powerball. But there's no fun involved in trying to figure out the winning numbers. Then again, they may not sell all the tickets before the raffle closes. If so, that will decrease the odds of everyone having their ticket drawn, and upset our lottery officials. I'm not buying one because raffles don't appeal to me.

MI Millionaire Raffle
..... I also would like PA to have a raffle drawing every 3 months .... however, if states did that ... the play on their other big jackpot games might drop ... with the price of the raffle ticket and the better odds to hit something big ... some people might just throw all their money into raffle tickets ..... I for one would probably do that, buy my tickets and start putting money away for the next drawing .... all those other games with odds in the millions to go for something that I might
