Math Models vs Actual Results

The theoretical models tell you what would happen after the dust settles, where the numbers are expected to be frequency-wise... observations don't agree because there are only usually a few hundred or a few thousand results and millions of possibilities. The theory helps set ranges, but observation helps narrow them down to useful size.here's an example from the M

PB Commons/Pattern-What do you think?
OpenMinded,I have tried this but not lining up the years, what I did was compare games side by side 36 draws apart (like game 100 beside game 136 etc...) and noticed some interesting occurrences. (it's in this thread under Powerball off the wall theories ) I number them in series, but I only keep the data from when the matrix changed (5/53 + 1/42) as I feel this makes it a new game and all prior data is irrelevant (they even used the old beitel criterion machines, where now they use the SmartPl

Mastermind filtering
Last 20; N=1; F=2 and F=3 in the NEXT. Yes, that is a detail. You can see this in grids, you can track and count this. For last 20 the relative frequency for most games goes from 0 to relatively higher than for last 100. You can also cross count. People not keeping older charts do by memory. I did one chart by ranks, ranks without gaps, so not the standard rank function in Excel. As Excel has this version problem and the kind of shut off my old VBA, I continued on java and PHP. PH

Excel Question
What my goal is, is this. I would like to be able to set up an excel program that would let me look at the same month back through history....say November.....and see what numbers favor this month. I hope that I'm explaining this correctly. And, I would like to be able to have a 'bell curve' or some kind of graph on the program to show number frequency.... and....what number likes to pair up with what number. I know it's a lot....Can this be done in excel? DIAMOND..
