First MM JP Rollover too small?
Somebody else said the odds of winning $2 are 1:75. But that's for a 0+1 match ONLY.

superball(one huge multistate game)
I would only play if the matrix made the odds like 1 in 300 million shot of winning.

Powerball sales skid hurts lottery profits
I know that longer odds seem bad to the players. But put your feet in their shoes. When jackpots range from 10-50 million they sell about an average of $10 million in tickets (this is all lotteries totaled) If the jackpot is won in this range sales become lack luster. Now we know if we raise the odds longer jackpot runs will become more common. When jackpots get to the $150-$200 million dollar range lotteries sell around $40-$50 million in tickets. Now if it was your job to maximize profit

Powerball sales skid hurts lottery profits
I've only been a member for a few days, but I have never seen such inane comments as those being stated about the new Powerball format. I can't actually believe people would get worked up over the fact that Powerball jackpots are seldom reaching the astronomical $200 million to $300 million dollar range, although there was a recent $220 million winner in Idaho. Would you really be upset if you only won, let's say, $150 million? Give me a break! But even more astonishing is the ranting of the guy

Who has pick3 filter software and use it?
Maybe it is possible to beat the random odds, some people here at LP seem to be doing it according to their prediction stats.

Mega at 145 but sales still fall
I understand the old odds of winning any prize was 1 to 30, and it's now over 1 in 40. You have to buy over 40 tickets to expect to get any prize so it's also tougher on pools. Pools will lose members for lack of interest if they don't get the occasional prize that rewards them for persistence. It's also gotta be tougher on people playing with wheels and systems since they have to go a longer period or more tickets between hits. The longer you go without success, even if it's due to the change

Which scratchers do you play?
I rarely play anything costing less than $5. The overall odds are too long. The top prize needs to be at least $100,000 too. If I'm not going to win, I might as well not win $500,000 instead of not winning $50,000 :)There is a $20 game in Texas called the $2,000,000 Spectacular I usually play once a month. As of July 9th there were 25 of 134 2nd tier $20,000 prizes left and 28 of 268 3rd tier $2,000 prizes left. But 2 of the 3 $2,000,000 lump sum prizes are still out. Have over 80% of the tick
