Do you think.......
Not a chance in hell. Not even if California joins and they decrease the odds to 1 in 175 million.

LOTTO South Jackpot Overlay
At 6/49 odds of 1:13,983,816 , the current LOTTO South jackpot of $14million for Wednesday April 6th is once again an attractive overlay. It's actually more money at far lower odds than the PowerBall game will be offering on the same day!I don't normally put a lot of work or money into this game, but I think I'll have to analyze it a little more closely and hit it a little harder for the upcoming drawing. It's not one of those gigantic jackpots that excite many people, but $14million any kind of

Merging Powerball and Mega Millions?
That would make the odds of winning the jackpot 1 in 245,430,240. I suppose a national lottery with this matrix could work.

110 $100,00 WINNERS !!??

"Scratching a state's itch" fun editorial
Quote: Originally posted by Maverick on March 29, 2005 Quote: Originally posted by DoctorEw220 on March 29, 2005 scroll down. NY may pull out of mega millions. Interesting. I hope NY does pull out. The odds are seriously ridiculous, and I won't be alive if/when my numbers come up in 1,000 years lol.People really got lost somewhere and forgot how hard the odds are at their own state lottery or even pick 5 games (although they are the best to play out of all).i kinda hope NY pulls out, but i kinda

GA's Oldest Triples
Yep Justin, those are definitely some sobering max out stats, nationally. Think I'll be sticking to other plays with more favorable odds.

Illinois Midday 3|23|05
One more comment about pick 3 wheeling. It doesn't matter what digits you pick When I tried the five hottest in other states it didn't always work. The point is to select five numbers that you think have a good chance of coming in today. Playing the whole number wheel of ten picks gives you 60 of the possible 220 combos...27%...the same odds of a double hitting...no matter what five digits you use.The trick is to pick your best five numbers and cover all combinations of them. The beauty of

Powerball changing, will you still play?
I agree. It would probably not help sales if they raised the ticket price to $2 AND raised the odds of winning.

Florida Lottery Petition-Please Sign
I live in Florida and I hope they never offer a higher odds pick-5 plus extra ball game like powerball. Not only is it much harder to wheel for, the odds keep going up and the big prizes you won't win suck money out of the state games. I'd rather see some winable million dollar games in place of one in a billion bs sucker games.Put some thought into it. Sure the idiots want big prize games to drool over and throw money at, that part makes sense for the lottery greedy heads to go for. Thing of

Powerball Matrix Change?
Hard to believe those record jackpots were set back when the odds were only 76 million to one.
