N.M. Lottery introduces peppermint-scented holiday scratch game
The New Mexico Lottery last week introduced a new scratch game that is certain to be a hot gift item for lottery players this holiday season.
A scented Scratcher game from the New Mexico Lottery is available now to holiday shoppers seeking fun surprises for stocking stuffers, hostess gifts, greeting cards and those ever-practical and predictable presents of sweat socks and underwear.
The peppermint-scented Candy Cane Magic conceals 10 numbers under images of red-and-white candy mints.

S.C. Lottery will probably offer raffle game again
The S.C. lottery will likely offer its million dollar raffle game again, said Ernie Passailaigue, executive director.
The lottery awarded four prizes of $1 million and hundreds of other prizes Monday in the game that works just like a door-prize drawing.
The Carolina Millionaire Raffle game sold just over 900,000 of its $10 tickets and paid about $5.5 million in prizes, Passailaigue said.
We did not sell out, so I wouldn't say it was a raving success, Passailaigue said. It was a succ

NJ Lottery New Year's raffle results drawn
The New Jersey Lottery selected the winning numbers Sunday for its special Million Dollar New Year drawing.
Only 500,000 tickets costing $20 each were sold for the raffle. That gave contestants a 1-in-125,000 chance of winning one of the $1 million prizes.
The winning numbers for the $1 million prizes were 040063, 168140, 265354 and 278146.
Numbers were also selected for other prizes ranging from $500 to $100,000, officials said.

By Todd Northrop
Two $1 million-winning Virginia Millionaire Raffle lottery tickets drawn on New Year's Day have not yet been claimed and are due to expire by the end of June.
One of the winning tickets was bought at a 7-Eleven on West Broad Street in Richmond. The other was purchased in Lynchburg.
In Virginia, winning lottery tickets must be claimed within 180 days after the numbers were drawn or they become worthless.
This means that each of the tickets will no longer be valid afte

Florida Holiday Millionaire Raffle 2016
I guess that even with the failure to sell out last year's Raffle tickets, the Florida Lottery turned enough of a profit to offer a raffle again this year.
What's the same:
Sales capped at 750,000 tickets
7 top prizes of $1,000,000 (at odds of 1/ 107,143.)
Five weekly drawings with two $10,000 winners per draw.
What's changed:
Longer sales period-- last year the Raffle ran from Nov. 15th to Dec. 30th. This year it runs from Oct. 31st to Jan. 2nd.
The first wee

PA New Year's Raffle
In reply to Crazy Wombat:
I too am surprised the next one is starting in a few days and ends March-19th. That's a lousy date, but maybe the PA Lottery has it all figured out this time. But doubt it though, since the 4th quarter raffle, which is a busy ticket buying time, didn't sell out. They'll be lucky to sell 300K tickets in 2 months during winter. May be a good time to play, but leery of glitches along with the remote possibility of PA Lottery flaking out and extending the deadline.

Arkansas Lottery revives Million Dollar Raffle, plans 46 new instant games
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery will roll out a new statewide raffle game with a top $1 million prize and more than 40 new instant tickets in the next year, officials said Monday.
Agency director Bishop Woosley said at a lottery commission meeting that the second Million Dollar Raffle will have some key differences from the first one in 2010, in which ticket sales started off slowly because a draw date wasn't set.
Woosley said ticket sales for the new raffle will begin soon with four draw

Changing the way I play..
Hey guys,
So, I like playing the lottery and everything but I don't like how I do it at the moment only buying 5 lines for a big draw and not playing for the small draws.
I am a small time lottery player, no scratchers or other games but I do like the new UK Lotto coming out with the 20K Raffle per draw and the higher payouts
I was thinking instead of playing just 5 lines every now and again for big draws maybe cut that out and just do the following

Washington Lottery published wrong numbers after raffle draw
Blames 'computer glitch'
A North Seattle man couldn't believe his eyes. His ticket in the lottery's Veteran's Raffle was a winner.
He checked the numbers, and then checked them again. I was so excited! I couldn't believe I had won the lottery! he said.
The problem is, he didn't. What he thought was a $1,000 winner was a dud.
I got up early and went to the lottery office, and they told me my ticket was invalid, he said.
Lottery officials say a computer glitch posted the wrong numb
