PB Drawing for Saturday 12-18-04
Aye, thanks for clarifying. Correct, I rounded the 1:11,388 chance of matching all 5 drawn among 10 numbers. It is slightly tougher to match JUST 5 and not the Powerball, than it is to just Match 5. 42/41 = 2,939,677/2,869,685. Your odds of matching 5 (regardless of PowerBall) are still 53!/(5!*48!) = 1:2,869,685. It's along the same lines of why the odds of matching JUST the Powerball are not 1:42, they are 1:70.As for the numbers drawn, while I pegged the 25 and 29, I KNEW I should've gon

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
What you SEE, in terms of all state lotteries, is mostly smoke and mirriors, the drawings for 27 states, were controled by Control Data in, Dallas,Tx, as of 1999 . My, information, comes from, a family member in their employ, at the time. They, (the lotteries) tell you, that they are super-imposing. What amounts too, 6/1 odds, in their favor, on the backs of, a lot of, state-lottery tickets. State lotteries, are in business, to make profits, not you rich! It's sort of like going to a 'casino',

DE $5.6 million CASH
Hard overall odds (you need at least 4 numbers). But yeah, for money I'd choose DE Lotto over PA Lucky For Life.

Hey everyon! I'm new! :-)

I would say that the software guides you on the right track to winning and significantly reduces the odds of losing, but there's still lots of guessing. 2 heads are better than 1.Not bad. Most I ever won on non-scratch games is $3 lol. I agree. Software does reduce the odds of losing... I think

Somebody (ie PA, NJ) needs to create a game with the same odds as NY Lotto.

50/50 Play in Va. Mid ..The Force is ...?
Tntea.....your guess would be a lot better than mine thats for sure. Not really up on ILL. The only real history I know on Ill. is whats right in front of me. The 50/50 method is basic.....and trys to swat a fly with a hammer. The way to play this method would be to prepare to play for at least 2 draws. You are playing the odds. If I lived in ILL i would also try to cut down the plays by subtracting the last 20 or so recent draws from the list. If it rolls again .....Monday odds will be even be

The Lottery Book
I found the promotion for the book loaded with mis-information. What part did you find worth the price of the book? I wonder why he thinks strategies are worthless. Personally I think that's totally stupid. I agree no strategy can guarantee a jackpot, but there are certainly smarter ways to play so you're not throwing away your money in a manner that makes winning virtually impossible.Simply not including the winning numbers from the previous draw in your combinations for the next draw sweeps o
