Telling if you have won.
here's how i scratch off my tickets. obviously, if it's a match 3 like amounts, i scratch the whole area from top to bottom. if it's a game in which you do something to win the prize under it, i willscratch off the prize amounts first, and then i will scratch off the game parts from lowest to highest amount. the time wasters, i will scratch off from top to bottom, and then the monus box (if any). i will also look at the prizes offered on the back (if it says). what is bad is when i play a w

WHY cant i win
There have been many good ideas posted in this thread and I hope people read it.1) Patience;2) Stick to the pick 3 and win more for your buck (50% payoff-to-odds ratio and keep Uncle Sam out of your wallet); my theory is that if you have a hard time winning at 1000-1 odds, what does that make your chances in a 135,000,000-1 game?3) Play only a small amount on the jackpot games and I usually stick to the pick 5 and play only a buck a draw; I don't spend a cent on the rip-off scratch off scams.4

It's all luck...

When you don't have all the winning numbers among those you are playing the odds go from long to absolute zero of winning a jackpot. Now what if you spend that same ten on playing all the numbers, or as many l

Lottosync 1.8 update
lantern:I really don't think lotteries are fixed. The bad odds in lottery games explain poor system performance just perfectly.I believe a lottery with balls drawn from a machine and broadcasted live on television can be considered safe. expecially if there is an independant usher (hope that is the correct word) controlling the draw like in the belgian lotto. You can never be sure about numbers drawn with computer systems, but I really don't think that those lottery companies fix anything too. T

Players cross the border for Powerball
I dont understand the fascination with hot lotto? It rolls like 50k at a time and the odds of hitting it are just like most state lotteries. Yeah the overall chances of cashing a winning ticket are higher than most lotteries. But any lottery that takes 9 months to reach 8 figures is just not all that great a game. I will stick to dropping bombs on the Little Lotto when its high and then enjoying games such as Lucky 5 in Indiana or Supercash in Wisc. Games that feature top prizes that dont ha

Players cross the border for Powerball
More people I think should follow his strategy of playing a lot when the jackpot makes the odds to dollar amount almost one to one. Why waste a few bucks on small jackpots, save it up for the big one and then shoot all your bullets. Its the smart way to play the lottery I think.Like the ILL Little Lotto, when it rolls up to 500k I drop good cash on it. I like the almost one to one ratio of money to odds. I dont bother playing when its so small. When you hit yiou want to hit big, give yourself

How magic do people expect wheels to be?
you are guaranteed to match 3... IF you picked 6 correct numbers out of the 12 that make up the wheel... When you can't satisfy the IF clause, the wheel will not win.... even 5 in 12 might undermine the wheel design and return far less than expected... you have to ask yourself if it is worth playing all those lines to guarantee a match3 on ONE line... and even that's not 100% guaranteed, unless the IF clause is satisfied._____Actually any two lines with 12 different numbers between them make a 3
