Dear MrSteel01Another Brain Teaser? I don't know why, but I always see a challenge in working out what you're on about. (Incidentally, from your Avatar have you ever wondered why sea horses swim in an upright position?)1. 100 Draws of what Lotto Type?2. Substituting repetitions for similarities obviousness will depend on the answer to 1.3. Why do Sums stay within the Minimum and Maximum Totals? Definitely an Act of God.4. Sequential Order? Just bear in mind convention. The number of possi

New 5 dollar scratcher in CA is ripoff!
The CA lottery just came out with a 5 dollar scratcher for the first time. Its top prize is 77,000. So I looked in the Lotto People magazine for the odds... and can you believe it's a 1 in 600,000 chance to win. That is just insulting. For every 3 million dollars spent they pay out (1) 77,000 top prize. And the next highest prize is 777 dollars. Normally the 3 dollar scratchers with 30,000 top prize are about 1 in 240,000. Not to mention they have had 3 dollar scratchers for 77,000 and 100

My thoughts on Massachusetts
I totally agree with this. The free ticket for 3 numbers is absurd - if you've played Megabucks or Mass Millions for a while you know how it is hard to get even 3 numbers. And the MA lottery has paid for players' punishingly long stretches between winning anything of value with sluggish ticket sales. The odds of winning the jackpot are much longer in MegaMillions, but the odds of winning any cash prize are actually better. A single 6/45 game with a bonus number like tri-state megabucks would

Mathematics of Lotto
The formula is always with me.I am using it every moment.I post one draw Prediction for five top Jackpots. If I can win more than a quick pick, why not use it?I am not a guru.Anyway I am improving the chance every minute.lotto prediction has nothing to do with historcial draws.more or less we have both makes no difference to get the only correct one draw.I don't think I understand your comment. You say the formula is always with you. Is paragraph two and three the formula? Or is there a formula th

A Modest Proposal

Michigan man wins $1 million lottery jackpot twice
I agree with the person who said not to play the lottery to win, but for the dream of winning.Virtually everyone here believes the lottery can be beaten with a system. If it could, it wouldn't exist -- at least, not for long. It can't be; and the odds of winning are terrible. But the dream of winning! That's well worth the dollar I spend twice a week on Powerball, or the occasional $2 scratcher I buy. The dollar I spend on my Powerball ticket buys a lot of dreams. It's such a thrill to think, It

Canada to change Lotto 6/49
Canada's Lotto 6/49 is going for gold with bigger jackpots and better chances of winning. Starting May 30, the first major changes in the game's 22-year history will take effect. We're hoping these changes will provide added excitement, said Kathleen Polyak, spokeswoman for the Western Canada Lottery Corporation. The game will still be based on the popular 6/49 format, but it will offer bigger jackpots more often, a new $5 prize category and better overall odds of winning a prize. But to enable b

Buying more tickets = reduced odds
I think the term dishonest is a little harsh. More a problem in phrasing. I agree recovering 25% of one's investment is still a big loss, but better then nothing. If the odds say you should only recover say 5% then recovering 25% would be beating the odds though it is owed to the reader to explain what this all means. There is also a utility value to these small wins as they form the foundation for winning larger prizes. If you routinely get 3,4, 5 numbers correct you only needed to get 3, 2
