I haven't played Mega Millions since the price rose to $5.00 per ticket in April. I wonder if Powerball will follow suit in the near future. Truth be told, I would rather the ticket prices be lowered at $1.00 per ticket like before when the jackpots were won at $300 million every three months. I would have been fine without the billion dollar jackpots. I am honestly considering daytrading instead of buying lottery tickets. After all, even if 95% of daytraders fail, my odds of succeeding

On the Texas Lotto game when it gets up to $9 or $10 million cash, I will play all the numbers in the game on 9 lines. It really reduces the odds of hitting the jackpot over just playing one or even a few lines. It's still hard, but all the numbers are guaranteed to be on no more than 6 lines. Same here, zero tickets. That type of game should be $1/line so you can decide how many chances you would like to buy to beat the astronomical odds. $5 for one line with a multiplier I don't want? No thank you!
