comparison of PB and MM
I'm up to 19 bucks a week. On average I would spend a couple extra bucks if the jackpots where astromical,. That was before the price increase. But no more. And the only reason I'm still playing. Is because I have been playing the same numbers for about 20 years. I have never matched anymore than 2 balls so far. I'm thinking of completely dropping out. Until the jackpot reaches a certain amount. And just my opinion. I don't care anyway you cut it. There both rip offs. If you bought all the games

Help needed, calculations on Mirror and Flipping
The Thompson chart is a good example of a static replacement chart. It can be directly implemented as written with Excel XLookup. A thorough back test of a static replacement chart will show it's limitations. Static is the keyword... when you use a static replacement strategy, the number you are swapping for still only has a ten percent chance of appearing. You are ending with the same 10,000 to 1 odds you started with (for a Pick 4). Not that it can't match, just that it happens too infrequ

Texas Lottery Commission votes to ban lottery couriers
No one wants games like the Pick 3 banned because there is no jackpot to buy. The law is stupid to ban Pick 3/4 games from being played through lottery couriers. Stupid ahh Texas government making stupid ahh laws that no one wants. More people win playing the smaller games. No one really cares about the big games because the odds are stupid. Ban those big games if they want, but leave the smaller games alone. That's all they had to do....but nooooo stupid is what stupid does. Texas said, forget

Colorado Lotto+
I don't live in Colorado, however I have noted that their Lotto+ jackpot is currently at 12M plus. The jackpot odds are 1:3.84M. Got a road trip on May 20th. If it's still not won, I will buy a 13 weeks (39 drawings) ticket. The jackpot has been growing from 10/7/2024.

Help needed, calculations on Mirror and Flipping
In terms of the colours, I havent found any. So far I noticed only this, the odds and evens issues, and what I believe is the need for mirror numbers conversion. Also what I found out is, the chart also works well slightly when you place a pick 4 sum into the app. Even that, the sums part, im looking to find out how does this work. From your point of view, shall I go with (use) ths 4d-2222+6666 method or are there anything else which I can use ?

Budget
I buy 3 power ball tickets. And 2 mega millions tickets. I spend 19 a week. But before my state switched to random number generated draws. I played all kinds of games. Which I averaged around a hundred a week. Give or take. I was a naive player at first. Then I started researching the games odds ect ect. Then realized it's basically a pipe dream. Only advice I can give is. Don't play beyond your needs. And definitely don't expect to win. The only reason I still play the 2 games I mentioned above

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
At the moment the actual cash prize is only slightly more than 45% of the advertised annuity. Figure the after tax net is about 57% of the cash (varies by state, of course), and a sole jackpot winner gets about 26% of the advertised annuity. If they advertise $50 million at 1 in 300 million odds (it's actually about 3% better than that) the expectation value is a whopping 4.14 cents. Mega millions is the higher jackpot at 70m. Mega millions sales should pick up ... Average sales since t

First big win of new Mega Millions game is one ticket in Ohio worth $112 million
An upside to the high ticket cost boycott is that I didn't lose any money in the latest MM run-up. $5 a loss per line adds up quick on a super low-odds lotto like MM. Hope you had a hoppy Easter and didn't lose any money to MM.

Mega Millions $5 price increase and game changes take effect this weekend
Thanx Brock! Now I know how they choose the multiplier for each drawing ..... how does the lottery terminal assign each multiplier per ticket ....just the five possibilities? Anotherwords, are the odds even for me getting a ticket with a ten multiplier as it is a two multiplier? Thanx ShagE

Mega Millions $5 price increase and game changes take effect this weekend
they increase ticket price by 150% but only improved jackpot odds by 4% So don't be one of the fools that pays 150% more for a slightly better chance at the relatively small early jackpots. One average we'll be seeing one jackpot winner for every 290 million tickets they sell instead of one for every 302 million tickets, but for every ticket sold there will be close to twice as much money for the jackpot. The result is that the average jackpot will be almost twice as big, and you should hav
