I don't know what the exact numbers are or if the lotteries evenrelease them to the public, but on most nights the Pick 5s probably geta lot less play. You don't need official numbers from the lottery to get a decent idea of how many tickets are sold, if you know the odds and how many people win. Reducing the number pools significantly doesn't seem to effect the outcome very much. The odds of having a small win goes from 1:40 to 1:18 which is possible when all the winning numbers are in the smaller pools. Lotto 6/49 Canada - improving odds by prediction lists
Hi everybody, With precious help from my friends I have developed a method that improves the odds of winning the Lotto 6/49 Canada by up to 20 times (for a 6-numbers set played). The idea is to choose the 6-set played from a pool that is about 20 times smaller than the total pool of ~14 million possible 6-set. So instead of playing randomly with 1 in 14 million odds you can play not-so-randomly for 1 in 700 000 from my prediction list. If you play 10 sets from our list you get 1 in 70 000

When you buy scratch-off tickets, an average of 1 out of every 4 tickets is a winner. That is just total odds though, so sometimes you can buy 4 tickets and get 2 winners or even 3 winners.
