My take on systems
24 in 292,201,338 can also be expressed as 1 in 12,175,055. Playing 24 lines gives you better odds than playing a 6-49 game at 1 in 13,983,816. Almost nobody mentions these odds. Playing 100 PB lines regardless of how they are chosen gives odds of 1 in 1,922,013. Do systems work, it depends on when / how they are played. The lottery offers more than the chance of winning a prize or loosing our butts. It can be fun as long as we don't go wild playing too many tickets. P

Pick 3/4 Meter Made Math Moves
Share your calculation. Not sure what up to the moment the set returned means. Are you referring to the actual length of the gap in the lottery? Short gaps are uncommon, in 10,000 runs using sequences of 15,200 numbers the shortest maximum gap was 17, the longest was 50. While the odds of seeing a gap in 6,7,8 can be computed the reality is if the gap had occurred in 1,2,3 or 2,3,4, ..., or 8,9,10 you also would have jumped up and said there is a flaw . You probably would

$334 MILLION: Powerball jackpot rolls into the new year
In spite of all the enthusiasm for it, the real record set by this lottery sequence is the lowest ever observed expectation values for jackpots exceeding 300 million annuity. For this drawing it is a very, very, very, very modest 0.51, meaning it's not even close to a good bet. Before the massive worsening of odds in both MM and Powerball, expectation values were often in the range of 0.9 (close to Casino odds) and even from time to time exceeded 1.00. Calculating sales expectations from

Florida Lottery Holiday Millionaire Raffle
Sorry to keep bombarding you good Florida Lottery Raffle players with my posts, but I thought I'd pass on one more piece of info just for comparison's sake. The Connecticut Lottery has been holding raffles twice per year too. And that's where the similarities end. Max of 275,000 ten dollar tickets sold for ONE top prize of $1,000,000. (275,000 to 1 odds) I'm situated about 45 minutes from CT, and my work pool and I were playing SuperDraw quite a bit until I heard about PA's Millionaire

Neural Net Lottery Picker
Hi, so what is the optimum neural net settings for preceptron for the 6/49 game ? You have to find by trial and error the best settings for your lottery game. I found the following settings (after tweaking) for my game (6/45) give very good results for the last 100 draws I tested: NN settings I used for this test: The results for back testing the latest 100 draw results: match 4: 5 times. odds 1 in 20 ( theor. odds 4 winning numbers matched from 10 are 1 in 65 (pick 6/45) ).

North Carolina: 4/1 - 4/30/2015
Congrats on your win Vergie, well deserved!! I can tell you from experience and what I have heard thru people that work at these stores regarding Scratch-offs. Me and a buddy used to go into them very deep and we would buy $600 books (30 tix) at a time. Another regular player at a store I go to ALWAYS ends up going thru one or 2 books (over $600!!!) and does not leave with a big winner (YIKES!) The Odds they post are NOT realistic, nor consistent with how it plays in real life. It says

Did you know that The Old G5'er has three adult children? Yup. Three. A boy and two girls. Now my son, he's in the U.S. Coast Guard and he's doing just fine. My younger daughter is a college student and she'll graduate next May. She's doing fine too. Then there's The Old G5'ers older daughter. She's a mathematician. Graduated from college in 2012 with a degree in math. She lives and works in Manhattan. And she thinks she's smarter than her Old Man. Now I suppose you're wondering why The

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Most players dislike the lower priced tickets because the payouts with reasonable odds are usually pretty low. For example, in PA there is a new $1 ticket called Cash Cow which has a 1 in 120,000 chance to win $500. This means that on average if you bought 120,000 of these cash cow tickets, you would find a $500 winner. If the odds played out like they should, it would cost you $120,000 to win $500. Thats the expected amount of $1 tickets you going to buy before you f

Input Playing the Various 6-49 Games
PA Cash 5 is easier than larger jackpot games, but still not all that easy to win much at. I too have experienced long runs of losses with that game. The odds of matching just two numbers is 1 in 11. So it's not surprising, though disheartening, to play for an entire week and win little to zilch. Playing Cash 5 for an entire month at $5 per day is worth a try, but plan for the real possibility of only winning back little as $25 of your $150. I still say go for it, since the combined odds of h
