Why is keno so hard to win?
'Why is keno so hard to win ?' Simple. Because just like in Mega or Powerball, looks ARE deceiving, what you THINK should hit - doesn't. Think about it: if all the numbers hit in Powerball that are SUPPOSED to hit - if all the geniuses picked Lottery numbers based on what is SUPPOSED to hit - and they did hit - we would not have a Lottery at all, because it would be hit every time by the same people, with thousands of people splitting the jackpot. So, just like in Mega, or PB, you mu

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
As Stew pointed out your odds of winning the MM game are always 1:175,711,536, the only guarantee is the winning combination will be one of those 175,711,536. When ever you eliminate a number, you are gambling that the winning combination will not include that number, thus if you're right your odds of winning improve to: MATCH ODDS 5/5+B 1 : 160023006 5/5+0 1 : 3556067 4/5+B 1 : 640092 4/5+0 1 : 14224 3/5+B 1 : 13063 3/5+0 1 : 290 2/5+B 1 : 816 1/5+B 1 : 139 0/5+B

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
MADDOG, As you've noted I have participated in your PB and MM challenges but I've never cracked the 3+1 ceiling that seems to exist for most participants. I know a few have done better but fja have shown many times by combining the posts of two participants, a 5+1 is possible with a pool of 18-24 core numbers and 6-8 bonus numbers which makes me think a pool of 25 core numbers and 10 bonus numbers is more doable. If my calculations are correct the odds of matching 5 of 56 core numbers in a

Powerball multi-state lottery game to change rules
Chuck32 Powerball and games of that ilk are different beasts. There is no fictional realm of partial drawings needed to explain it. You know going into the game that you need the powerball to win the jackpot. Here- Say I buy 39 tickets all covering each powerball. Then my odds are 5 million to 1 (5/59) to win the jackpot because I know I have the powerball *BEFORE* the drawing. Ok now instead of buying tickets that way I buy 39 easy picks and I look at them and I see that som

A little bit of philosophy to CASH 3 #s It is not how much you win, but how good you can reduce your odds each night you make picks What this means to me is: Each FRONT PAIR or BACK PAIR really represents 10 chances per pick or 1 in 100 versus 1 in 1000 for a single pick. Take 10 #s in a draw and your ODDS are now 1 in 10 Take 25#s in a draw and your ODDS are now 1 in 4 But too many picks ( 10) reduce profitability. TRICK IS FIND ONE KEY DIGIT you like., Narrow to

Can One Really Predict Numbers ...
The Pick 3 game is not a good odds game. Crap,,,this game in reality is.... 15+ times harder than your average slot machine. Playing this game is almost like playing a crossword puzzle....or solitaire. It's for amusement and relaxation. It's fun to fight the Windmills and the impossible odds...and beat unbeatable foe.....and even win .....sometimes. To win ....and win for those long periods of time... Well, it sure is alot of fun. but... There is no (smart) profit in
