$447.8 million winning Powerball lottery ticket sold in California
I do. I play PB, MM, Texas Lotto, Texas 2 Step, AoN, Triple Chance, and Cash 5. I got news for ya. They are ALL hard to win. But, I am not disgusted because I know what odds are, and just because the odds are better for a particular game doesn't mean a jackpot win is automatic. The odds for Texas Cash 5 are 1 in 435,897. They sell approximately 130,000 tix for each draw, and it's not unusual to go 6 or 8 draws without a winner. It's all relative.

Michigan Lottery offers a way to win nearly 100% of the time
Quite honestly, it's not that great of a game. I've played it before on several different price points and have never went anywhere with it. That being said, this article is 100% true. If you are in Michigan, and have a little time to spare, 1 in 4 odds to double your money or 1 in 1.25 odds to get 50% of your bet back while not risking a cent of your OWN money ain't that bad of a deal. Think about it: At 300 plays @ $1, you are guaranteed to win back $150. Assuming it paid out at od

Don't let the Odds concern you. You can't change the Odds. You either Play the Game, or You don't Play the Game. The Odds are really irrelevant. You don't need to be a Mathematical Genius. The Game of Lottery is not Rocket Science !!! Stay away from Strategies with complicated Math. It's Not Necessary !!! System Odds-What Is Your Limit?
We all know systems can leave us with a wide range of numbers sometimes. I have one right now that gives 90 numbers but within 6 months there is an average of 30 straights that hit out of that list plus numerous boxes. Is that acceptable, I ask myself? Is that good or no good? We'd all love to have a system that gave us one or two numbers that would hit straight within a few days. But is that really possible? And on a consistent basis? I'm really trying to get grip on what your acceptable odd

Mega Millions lottery tickets double to $2 starting in October
Here in Texas people play scratchoffs for as much as $50. Scratchoffs sales account for 78% of lottery sales here. The $5 scratch tix are the best sellers, so if people drop $5 on a scratchoff, what's $2 twice a week to win millions? Understand the difference in odds, and the fact that scratchoffs are instant gratification, but it's all in what someone is willing to spend and how much they need or want to win. I don't like the increase either, but.....where else can a person spend a dollar

Ohio's Rolling Cash5 jackpot at $596K
Unfortunately, they will probably never fix it. They are too fixated on bringing $2 games to increase revenue. It's all they can do. They went from 2 draws a day on P3 and D4, and with AoN to 4 draws a day hoping people would play more. There are X number of people who play the lottery. The majority play scratchers. The legislature is going to cut the lotteries advertising budget at a time when they need to advertise to get more people to play. The frustrating thing is that if they just did a

Is it ereally much easier to win Cash, Fantasy, Pick 5 versus Mega or Power?
Let me put it in perspective. The pick 3 is 1 in 1,000. The Florida Fantasy Five is about 376,000 to 1. It's 376 times harder to win the JP than the Pick 3. People make a habit of looking at the winners but don't think about all those losing tickets for that one or two persons who win. Unfortunately it's an illusion to see the almost daily winners and think,,,,well...that person can be ME! How about bigger games like PB? Can you imagine all the hundreds of millions of losing tickets with PB?

$349 MILLION: Huge Powerball jackpot set for Saturday
In Michigan, we're dealing with our own runaway jackpot in the Classic Lotto47. It is drawn on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and tomorrow night's jackpot is estimated at $22.55M. This jackpot is nearing its high-water mark of $23.5M on March 1, 2008 on its 68th rollover. Tomorrow's drawing is its 69th since last won. The jackpot is certainly not aligned with Powerball, where odds are 1 in 292 million on a $2 ticket. Classic Lotto47 gives us odds on that same $2 (two tickets) of 1 in 5.37

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
The SM roll that I won $100k on was recently delivered to the One Stop Chevron in Lake City. Basically, that store is a powerhouse in lottery sales within my area so they are able to get books very easily. I'm not sure if it had been sitting in inventory in a low traffic store, or if it was delivered from a warehouse. Since then, they received 5 additional rolls of Super Millions. I've done the math, and there's less than 300 Super Millions rolls being listed as activated, received, and in trans

$403 MILLION: Powerball jackpot to guarantee a happy holidays for lucky winner
Hey Groppo, I've been where I didn't have any money either. I've been playing for over 30 years, and the best I ever did was 5 of 6 in Ohio Lotto. Won about $900. You have to realize that the odds of winning these games are extremely low. You should hope to win, but never expect to win. The best thing to do is buy one ticket to be in the draw. I've learned that cost control playing the lottery is paramount. To spend tons of money is not worth it, you will lose more than you win. One id
