PA Raffle Countdown to 500,000 ...
If memory serves me correctly, peak sales will be in the 20K-30K per day range the final few days. Even at 20,000 tickets sold everyday from here on out, sales will come short. PA Lottery will do its darnedest to avoid that; running more ads, and, as a last resort, discounting raffle tickets by a dollar or two.
My hunch is the lower pace of sales is due to a few things: competition from casinos, etc - more gaming choices than ever, the economy, and player fatigue - many have played the raffle

Post your scratch ticket results
I love Subway they always have good deals. Good $500 win too. I played today a little bit and had some luck. Doesn't make up for the Tuesday beating but it was nice.
2 $5 Crossword (#37, 38) #38 won $5
2 $5 Get Lucky (#17, 18) #17 won $10, #18 won $50
2 $5 Nutcracker Cash Doubler (#46, 47)- both lost
Was very surprised to see consecutive wins on Get Lucky and pretty good ones too. Earlier today I bought a $1 ticket that won $1 and also $2 Bonus Match 5 so hopefully that hit

PA Raffle Countdown to 500,000 ...
No I don't feel bad at all ... I like to hear a winning story. I will tell you the truth ... if it were handy for me I would also play the raffle in both CT and PA. I always like to check out the odds of this game or that game but odds probably mean nothing in the end with lottery games ... it's all luck. So the raffle odds are a bit better in PA but you won in CT !!!
If I lived on the PA border with ten states close by and they all had a state raffle, I would buy a ticket(s) from all the sta

PA Raffle Countdown to 500,000 ...
GiveFive ... that's a great idea with the raffle pool and since the driving distance doesn't seem to matter either way ... to Conn or PA, then go with the odds. I have played every PA raffle since it started, with a couple of tickets one year from the Michigan raffle ... have never won even the lower prize, $100. I go with the odds but it's still tough to make a buck.
As in any game ... I'm sure there have been many people who have never played the lottery or bought a raffle ticket before and

Texas Lottery suspends sales of Monopoly Millionaires' Club game
While I don't think the lottery playing public is stupid, many players just don't want to spend a lot of time and effort on understanding and playing any given game.
IMHO, that's why QP's are the choice of the vast majority of players. QP's are fast and easy. People buy whatever it is they want at the convenience store and tell the clerk Gimme a quick pick for tonite's lotto and they're out the door and on their way.
This MMC game is way too complicated.
People understand raffles. Wh

Why any good Pick 3 system, method, or tool will ,almost, certainly fail
You talking Pick 3/4 games or those ridiculous high odds big games? Because you are talking Apples and Orangutans.
Math can show us everything we need to know about the game except how to win.
RL
To say that in such a way is a great disservice to novice Pick 3/4 players.
Math tells us that we are up against almost unbreakable Odds alright, but certain players around here use it to win much more than the odds would dictate.
Perhaps you meant to say that Math shows us t

Monopoly Millionaires game
GiveFive,
Go back and read all the posts in this thread by LottoMetro and myself. Yes, MMC does become a raffle when the jackpot is hit and yes, the jackpot was hit Friday night, but that was an extremely unlikely result. In fact, in the 3 drawings so far, the jackpot winner was the *only* ticket to hit the first 5 numbers. Based on ticket sales so far, statistically that should happen about once in every three draws. But then you've got to match the randomly-generated property (1 in 28 chanc

Millonaire Maker Fantasy Football Contest is Up
Well we are about 12 hours to the start of the big fantasy tournament. At worst you will have odds of 92,400 to one to become a millionaire. Tough to beat that sort of lottery odds. Entry or cost of each ticket is just $27. $2.2 million in prizes will be paid out. It will be a busy morning for me finalizing my lineups making sure no one is injured, making sure I find players who are filling in for injured players at cheap salaries.
Guys like Reggie Bush, Rashad Jennings, Blake Bortles, Chris

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I've actually tried playing 100 quick picks for fantasy 5 whenever the jackpot was over $200k around the time Fantasy 5 2nd Chance draw was in its debut. I've tried about 10 times and I did not use any wheeling system (its for those who are supersititious that a number will not repeat or a number is hot, when in reality its all independant events).
I got about 8 to 15 Free Plays for 2 out of 5 matches (1 in 10 odds)
I got about 1 to 3 ~$15-19 prizes for 3 out of 5 matches (1 in 103 odds)

Best time NOT to play doubles is...
Sure......doubles hit 27% of the time or every 3 or 4 draws. It's good odds to bet that way too ......if that was the point of this post. Although the DC degree of certainty is not as attractive in that case. Don't forget you were using combined draws when the doubles stopped midday today with the box single ...430 however. Not as rare as the 4 doubles in a row opportunity here..... which was the original planed subject ...but still.
On the other hand......in this post's example ......
