I could be wrong but I believe that Abraham was attracted to Dee Dee and thought he could win her over with his money. Why else would he put his money in her bank account??? When his girlfriend expressed concerns about him trusting a stranger, he told her not to worry...he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately for Mr. Shakespeare, he was wrong.
