Lottery integrity called into question as media blows issues out of proportion Exclusive Lottery Post investigative report By Kate Northrop The Connecticut Lottery is being forced to revisit a 2023 software glitch that caused confusion for some players trying to claim prizes and this time it's being made worse by local media blowing the matter out of proportion. North Carolina grandmother with injured leg "took off running" after seeing $912,326 lottery win
Go Granny go! Fantastic win and love your lofty goals. WTG! Since I have everyone's attention wanted to update on two things I mentioned previously. Sorry for deviating from the subject matter. 1) Watched the Mgr load the lottery machine yesterday. She scanned each packet of scratch tickets whereas I thought the machine did that with purchases. 2) My ramblings about KY lotto update to mobile app was wrong. They, not IGT, investigated it thoroughly. It has to do with Andr

North Carolina man wins $1 million lottery prize with $20 bill he found on the ground
The lucky stars were definitely lined up on this win!! Yesterday the KY Governor was @ the KY lottery headquarters. They used KY lotto RNG machines to draw 'pick 3' for medicinal marijuana dispensaries. This morning another channel showed the two RNG machines, and Gov. Beshear standing there with the IGT logo behind him. The machines looked like cabinets of sorts with a computer screen and keyboard on top of it.

Texas Lottery says NJ group tried to buy another Lotto Texas jackpot
Comes to mind a good example is Texas Cash 5. It's played 6 nights a week and the jackpot is. Ever larger than $25000 whether it's won or not. And the state is liable for up to $75000. I guess a better term would be a non-rollover game. And thinking about the term group. I should be more clear using that as well. We're not talking work groups or a small party of friends spending $50 to $500. By group we're talking a party organized with the intent, or an organization (like the i

Data breach at lottery tech vendor Brightstar exposes personal info of over 100,000 individuals
Just happened to click on a greyed out area of the Kentucky lottery website. Said 18 people who won a trip in 2017 2018 Wheel of Fortune scratch tickets were possibly affected. Starting my journey with the VA (28 years too late) was griping all the security steps one has to take, through a private vendor, after reading this well worth it. Historically don't pay much attention to companies that I have small investments in, and sure enough IGT now Brightstar.

Louisiana House introduces bill that would legalize online lottery ticket sales
As for the phone APP it is not like the old system. The APP I use is almost the same as the old system phone APP . The difference between the old and new web pages are night and day with the exception of the annoying instant games scrolling next to the Keno board. The old page had a view past results tab that we could go back and forth to the Keno board without having to log back in as is required on the new page. Not knocking your IGT stock just saying whomever set up the new web page

Louisiana House introduces bill that would legalize online lottery ticket sales
I have had zero problems with the PC website, the only thing different as you say is it wants to verify my location, no biggie. Sure Mr. OCD (somewhat) didn't get his way with suggesting the computer camera be used to check tickets. As for the phone APP it is not like the old system. Too many times, over 85% of the time easily even if I log out, it won't remember a thing about me the next time. Being we're well into the 21st century this is unacceptable to me. Seriously doubt IGT RI wil
