l will continue to play just One line for the MM, and One line for the PB game.l don't consider myself a sap either. However should I win anything above $20 mil, anyone of you has permission to say "you remember noise-gate, that sap, won big time!"

I've been an active lottery player for years.
Haven't won much, but, it's more entertaining that crappy movies and expensive popcorn, and other habits.
I may be wrong but I don't think any official lottery has ever admitted that they made a mistake and undo recent changes that didn't work out.
I recall Texas lottery killed a $2 game years ago. Players didn't like the price and the fact that the lottery RNG chose the numbers.
The point is that the game went away because it wasn't profitable, not because of unpopular changes to the game in the way Powerball and Mega Millions are doing.
Powerball and Mega Millions have been around for a long time. Making players unhappy with changes that make the game harder to win is routine. They know that sooner or later many of the unhappy players will get back in line.
Face it. The lotteries are getting 50 percent even before there is a drawing. They anticipate that some players will quit playing but the impact on the their overall revenue stream is minimal.
All they have to do is bide their time as the jackpot grows until just about every adult will risk a couple of bucks.
After all, someone, or someones, will eventually win.
Laughing all the way to the bank is what official lotteries do. No amount of player complaining is going to change that.
Looking ahead.
The Powerball folks have announced a new game called Winner Take All that will go online next year.
The lotteries will get 50 percent off the the top, of course.
The other 50 percent, or less, will be divided among winners that match winning numbers.
There won't be any rollovers.
Personally, I believe Powerball will add 6 numbers, 69 to 75, late next year.
Mega Millions will probably jump on the Winner Take All gravy train in future.
My two cents worth!!
By the way, I quit the jackpot games years ago.
I don't know of anything that would cause me to get back in line.

I've been playing Daily 4 pretty heavy too. Property taxes have to be paid by Jan 31, and boy did they go up this year. I've dropped $5 straight a few times, thought about going $10 but......that is a chunk to spend at once.

I play for the dream. If I have a ticket I can dream about winning. Without a ticket I have nothing to look forward too. So that little bit of money helps.

That's pretty good because that's how I envision the game. I can tell you that I have an extraordinary system. It takes about two days to pick numbers for every game. When I zero in on the next picks, the game almost always double back to previous numbers. I've proven this many times by running my routine offline and observing the results. It really pisses me off that there is cheats in every game. If I quit the jackpot game, you are left with the dreaded RNGs. Literally you can't win until the house decides.

Wow. Advertised as 71 million and you end up with less than 26.7 million. What a scam.

Now if the winners got the whole amount tax free, they might sell more tickets.

List Pick 3 singles by low sums, high sums. Separate each sum row by consecutive pair and non consecutive pair combos. These 3 pair groups. 14 17 47, 25 28 58, 36 39 69 are in 63 combos. 54 combos do not have them. Which sums do the 3 pair groups appear and not appear? Look at root sum groups 147, 258, 369. Play accordingly.

Lotto As made mega millions extremely unfair. Lotto rakes in million bonuses to million salaries. Those are real mega millionaires.

With current jackpot 37 mil cash people average loss for 1 ticket is 1.8$. Powerball is schemed in favor of Lotto As too. Now mega millions is fabricated even more unfair to people than powerball.

If we mega million for 30 years 20 tickets draw, we’ll lose 110K. Somebody could lose a house, somebody could even win but on average we’ll all lose and this is for sure.

Also, to increase transparency and accountability lotto should limit executives term to 2-4 years. It would give more info about lotto schemes.
