I have zero faith that someone can win (net win, not gross win) $1,200 per week playing the lottery.

There are only three possibilities here:

1) spend $2,400 per week buying tickets and then ignore your losses when you claim that you "win" $1,200 (because spending $2,400 would result in $1,200 gross wins, on average, for a net loss of $1,200)

2) cheat by weighing down your favorite numbers

3) lying

I'm going with lying.

Why would someone have to spend $2400 a week to win $1200?

That would be $171 a drawing.

$1200 Is less then three P3 straight hits a week.

You could hit a $1 box on a P4 double 3 times and get $1200

You could get that amount several different ways.

And you don't have to win every drawing to do it. Just 2 or 3 out of 14.

List Pick 3 singles by low sums, high sums. Separate each sum row by consecutive pair and non consecutive pair combos. These 3 pair groups. 14 17 47, 25 28 58, 36 39 69 are in 63 combos. 54 combos do not have them. Which sums do the 3 pair groups appear and not appear? Look at root sum groups 147, 258, 369. Play accordingly.

Because the expected value of a $1 Pick 3 ticket is $0.50.

Sure, but you will have to buy a lot of tickets to get 3 straight hits a week, and the vast majority will be losers. That's TB's point.

Do you really believe there are people who have solved Pick 3 to the extent they can win 14% - 21% of the time? That would have to be one heck of a non-random and biased RNG the lottery is using.

Only my hairdresser knows for sure.

We still haven't heard from any of those "system experts" in the Systems Forum. With well over 20 threads one would think at least one of those thread starters has a system showing a positive long term R.O.I.

Great rebuttal on this deal, grwurston. When I first glanced at it, I was just as confused but figured maybe he made a mistake once I crunched some numbers. As you've accurately stated, there are many ways to arrive at a given number be it gross or net because we're dealing with numbers and mathematics from the start. You and I speak so much of the same language because we understand this game in the same way. Specifically, I've said many times in the past that a system which allows the player to win consistently doesn't mean they're winning on every draw. It's not gonna happen. However, consistency in this regard simply means that the player can actually expect to win enough money frequently enough to where it keeps them ahead of the profit margin which completely mirrors your last sentence. Consistency can be measured in many forms.

Small games, frequent wins, and regular payouts 'cause.....

There are seven days in the week...'Someday' isn't one of them.

If you're spending $171 a draw, you can cover all 120 single box combos plus almost half of the doubles and all the triples. Who does that? Of course you wouldn't be playing them boxed though.

2) To get three P3 straights a week you could do it with as few as 3 combos. Nothings impossible but I will agree it's highly unlikely. Now if someone was able do it with just 3 combos, they sure as heck aren't talking about it. Twenty five to 30 combos I could see it.

3) Winning the P3 two or three times a week? Absolutely it's being done. There is more then enough information here to do it. People try to win with as few combos as possible, which is why they don't. You have to give yourself some coverage. Plus, people make the game more complicated then it is. Keep it simple.

Use the winning tickets to promote your retail system.

Sometimes people do select numbers that have a history of being drawn more often and maintain a wager on them increasing it as necessary to ensure a specific profit minimum when it does hit. Once doing well, as in playing with winnings, one could consider running any number of numbers this way concurrently. The negative may mean having a cut off point where the profit must be sacrificed in order to simply break even or accept a loss.

Well look, these days there are assumptions and say name calling, “experts” etc. Just because someone uses a certain way does not necessarily make that person an “expert” on the whole general subject. It just means they are sharing what they are thinking and seeing and the way they do things. Perhaps they are also looking for help or collaboration, but most not all but most don’t seem to try to help. They just make comments and move on; “put it on the shelf with the rest of them”.

The idea of controlling that which is unseen beforehand with very little foundation in the past or other factors contributing to the outcome, as in the stock market etc., is difficult okay, and we all know it. BUT, it does not mean you can’t win or make a profit. It’s like riding a horse in a way. Sometimes the horse will listen to you, and sometimes the horse won’t move an inch. The systems in the forums are good to practice on and many who have good systems have shown ways that are still very much valid. So having said that, why don’t you all focus on how to make your picks better, instead of just relying on this simple idea of it must work when I say it works otherwise it don’t work. We all know it’s more complicated than that, right? And that’s what throws people off. Yes chasing a pick can be worth it. Budgeting is key. Best of luck.

Its not hard to figure out which pick looks good and when to play it, skips eve vs day, at times you may be right at times you may be wrong. That’s the nature of the game.

ps- I would never expect to win $1,200 a week. But I would never spend $2,400 a week. Most I ever spent was maybe $1,500 on scratchers once and yes the percentages are about correct on the amount won or ‘given’ back. But I have won more than $1,200 in one week. When you win, best advice I can give is to save your money.

Sometimes you do the right thing just because it’s right.

Life's a game of mathematics, if you can't figure that out I don't know what to tell you.

Then it's not so successful if you want to play with other people's money.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

With respect, and going strictly by your numbers, you shouldn't need ANYONE to come up with $200 to get a winning system implemented. In fact, you could save that over a period of about (4) months give or take if you cut some spending luxuries. To be very honest, you're getting away virtually unscathed so far with the responses to this generic GoFundMe. Specifically, no one has yet asked why you're asking for investment if your system works so well. I've been there, personally, and the question is well justified. That said, the dollar amount of $200 can be applied in many ways and, in just my own preliminary crunching and application, I also know it's possible to accomplish this. How it's applied is the key...in my opinion.

Unless you're prepared for full disclosure, proof of performance, and why you cannot muster the finances on your own, be careful about asking for people's money...especially for gambling purposes. Just sound advice based on experience.

I agree. It sounds like he won 17 times on paper in Oct. and took in $2,200 on only seven actual plays while spending $200. Not a bad return if that's the Pick3. So what exactly does he need investors for?
