Of course Pick 3 game result vary from state to state.

54 percent that 1 digit will repeat from the previous drawing

84% of all draws contain at least 1 number from the previous 2 drawings

5 percent will have 1 number 4 drawings ago

Bottom line is if your pick 3 set does NOT have at least 1 number from the previous 3 drawings

ok winsum are correct, the value 70% is just to have a reference of patterns that happen in the central range of the gauss curve most of the time, we can cross the patterns to decrease the number of groups to predict, yes of course, never it will be 100% accurate but 60% to 70% or more is enough

To figure out how the next number is structured into high/low and even/odd, first of all you need to realize that most of the time you only have 4 options to deal with.

Odd Odd Even & High High Low (153 options - 27%)
Odd Odd Even & High Low Low (132 options - 23%)

Odd Even Even and High Low Low (153 options - 27%)
You have to realize that these 4 options cover 57% of all 1000 numbers. Of these choices, the first and last choices cover 54% together and the second and third only 46%. This information can be very valuable when you make your decision.

What except? Pair or Odds
One of the most commonly used ways to check whether the numbers you pick are odd or even uses three previous draws.

Here's what you do:
Count the odd and even numbers from the previous three draws. Depending on the result, you can make the following assumption:

0 odd 9 even - expected result: 2 odd 1 even or 1 even 2 odd
1 odd 8 even - expected result: 2 odd 1 even or 3 odd
2 odd 7 even - expected result: 2 odd 1 even

OK Dr. San, you hit on a point I would like to address. Many times I have read here on Lottery Post
and in other sources that in the Pick 3 game one number repeats from the last game some where
between 70 and 80 percent of the time. I think many people read it so much they just run with it.
If you use a spreadsheet and 1 years worth of your Pick 3 game history, you will see that the
70 to 80 percent does not hold up to backtesting. Why 1 year? To see what actually happens consistantly
over time. I find that looking to see how many times a number repeats from the last game usually ends
up in the 40 to 50 percent range, and it stays there for awhile. Thats not to say a number does not
repeat from the last game 70 to 80 percent of the time, it just happens in short time frames. Go ahead
and click on that spreadsheet icon and check it out for yourself. This also holds true for many other
metrics we use to try and predict the next number in the Pick 3 game. You might think "Why bother wasting
time on this if it does not hit X percent of the time?". The key here is consistancy. Meaning... It happens
and it happens alot, we just dont know when. This is why when you start piling up methods like one number
from the last game, sums, high/low, odd/even, mix numbers, etc.,etc. It usually winds up in dissapointment
or someone thinks "I've got something here." and it does not work out over time at a profit. This is when
many will think I need a way to verify these digits or number sets. The problem is nothing really correlates
with anything else well enough to see a long term profit. We try anyway because this is all we have to
work with right now. So with this in mind, lets try to work this out. When we actually play pick 3 we know
box numbers have the best odds as there are only 220 numbers to choose from. Many people are more comfortable with a 1 in 220 shot as it gives that degree of certainty not matter what number comes out it will be in that 220 number pool. So what is the best way to reduce these numbers? Backtesting points us in the direction of what happens most often but does not tell us if its going to come out in the next game. So as a starting point
we might look at what numbers have the highest chance of repeating. On the surface you might think I'll just
play the highest frequency box numbers from the last year of game history but how those number actually hit
may have you playing and praying alot more than you actually hit. In backtesting most anything and everything
I find that most all of the repeating numbers hit within the last 100 games. So breakout the spredsheet or
Lotsoft Pro and determine which box numbers have come out in the last 100 games. This is a starting point that
will give you a much better chance of hitting a number in the next game. Backtest it for yourself as it
generally hits at the 50 percent of the time or better mark and covers the mixed and double numbers as well.
This can be used as a verifier of other methods. Once you have your list of 100 numbers(MATCH function in excel
makes this easy) you can sort out which numbers have one or more of the digits from the last game. This will
leave you with 60 ish or so numbers to select from. you can use other methods to further reduce the ammount of
numbers to play, just keep in mind that as you add on methods or ideas to reduce the amount of numbers to play
if any method breaks down in the chain and does not agree you will not have the next winning number.
Hopefully this helps or maybe sparks a better idea.

If the last drawing was 123, the probability of at least one of the digits repeating is the total number of combinations with at least one of those digits divided by 1000. Easier to divide the 343 combinations without a 1,2,or3 in any digit position by 1000 and subtract. That's 65.7% with at least one digit.

Not quite 70%, but close enough.

Why not just flip a coin three times; heads is even, tails is odd. That will give you 125 straight combinations (5x5x5). If you want to break it down with less combos, flip a coin three more times; heads is low, tails is high. Each digit position will have 2 or 3 digits so it will be 8, 12, 18, or 27 straight combos.

27 straight combo? Thats quite whalish. Who do you think is gambling here Donald Trump?

If you have to play 27 straights, then I dont think you have any idea of what is evolving.

I did not know of your post as I made my response off line in note pad as I had alot going on at that time. Its interesting that this ebook sorta verifies what my own backtesting had shown independently. Its something to look at for sure.

note that the digit that repeated was the 7, but not in the same position as the last draw, do you know that we only have 8 digits to predict in the 1st position?
from 0 to 7 the digits 8 and 9 are already part of the 2nd and 3 when treated in the 120 crescents

The probability of any digit repeating in the same digit position is 1 in 10, two digits repeating 1 in 100 and a 1 in 1000 chance that all three repeat. Basically we have three 1 in 10 chances of a digit repeating in the same digit position in every drawing. Repeats in digit positions don't happen as much as a digit in any position, but it happens more than you think.

If you're just creating filters for 6-way boxes, digit positions are irrelevant.
