The ending of free speech
When a newspaper fires its editor for allowing a point of view to be published, that newspaper is clearly censoring free speech. I guess the Left worries that contra opinions might actually open some people eyes and get them off the liberal plantation. Welcome to 1984. Group think was never more a problem than today.

If Our Heroes Of D-Day Could See 👀 What's Become Of Our America ![]()
By Don Feder
June 4, 2019
On the 75th. anniversary of D-Day, we like to reflect on the momentous beginning of the crusade to save civilization – depicted in the old black-and-white photos of determined young men wading ashore.
But I wonder what they would think, if the heroes of D-Day – those 18- and 19-year-olds from Brooklyn and Chicago and Des Moines, who fought and died on the beaches of Normandy and during the almost year-long campaign to liberate Europe that followed – could see what's become of the country they loved and endured such hardship to preserve.
Thankfully, there was no crystal ball on the beaches of Normandy on that fateful day in 1944 which would have enabled our fighting men to see what would become of America. Even then, most would have continued fighting, but it certainly would have taken the fight out of them.

Minority ‘Youths’ Kick/Stomp Lone White Boy’s Head, Police Reject Hate Crime
Graphic footage of a white teen being pulled off of his bicycle and repeatedly kicked in the head by a group of minority “youths” garnered mass outrage. However, the police announced that only one suspect was arrested and promptly released, and it only got worse from there.

“That share of black victims is less than what the black crime rate would predict, since police shootings are a function of how often officers encounter armed and violent suspects. In 2018, the latest year for which such data have been published, African-Americans made up 53% of known homicide offenders in the U.S. and commit about 60% of robberies, though they are 13% of the population.
[black men are roughly half that 13%, so 6-7% of our population commits 53% of murders (and maybe half of that 6-7% when you take out the very young and old, so it’s less than 5% who are doing 53% of the killing. That is what should shock the conscience]

The Myth of Systemic Police Racism
Hold officers accountable who use excessive force. But there’s no evidence of widespread racial bias.

George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis has revived the Obama-era narrative that law enforcement is endemically racist. On Friday, Barack Obama tweeted that for millions of black Americans, being treated differently by the criminal justice system on account of race is “tragically, painfully, maddeningly ‘normal.’ ” Mr. Obama called on the police and the public to create a “new normal,” in which bigotry no longer “infects our institutions and our hearts.”
Joe Biden released a video the same day in which he asserted that all African-Americans fear for their safety from “bad police” and black children must be instructed to tolerate police abuse just so they can “make it home.” That echoed a claim Mr. Obama made after the ambush murder of five Dallas officers in July 2016. During their memorial service, the president said African-American parents were right to fear that their children may be killed by police officers whenever they go outside.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz denounced the “stain . . . of fundamental, institutional racism” on law enforcement during a Friday press conference. He claimed blacks were right to dismiss promises of police reform as empty verbiage.
This charge of systemic police bias was wrong during the Obama years and remains so today. However sickening the video of Floyd’s arrest, it isn’t representative of the 375 million annual contacts that police officers have with civilians. A solid body of evidence finds no structural bias in the criminal-justice system with regard to arrests, prosecution or sentencing. Crime and suspect behavior, not race, determine most police actions.
In 2019 police officers fatally shot 1,004 people, most of whom were armed or otherwise dangerous. African-Americans were about a quarter of those killed by cops last year (235), a ratio that has remained stable since 2015. That share of black victims is less than what the black crime rate would predict, since police shootings are a function of how often officers encounter armed and violent suspects. In 2018, the latest year for which such data have been published, African-Americans made up 53% of known homicide offenders in the U.S. and commit about 60% of robberies, though they are 13% of the population.
The police fatally shot nine unarmed blacks and 19 unarmed whites in 2019, according to a Washington Post database, down from 38 and 32, respectively, in 2015. The Post defines “unarmed” broadly to include such cases as a suspect in Newark, N.J., who had a loaded handgun in his car during a police chase. In 2018 there were 7,407 black homicide victims. Assuming a comparable number of victims last year, those nine unarmed black victims of police shootings represent 0.1% of all African-Americans killed in 2019. By contrast, a police officer is 18½ times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.
On Memorial Day weekend in Chicago alone, 10 African-Americans were killed in drive-by shootings. Such routine violence has continued—a 72-year-old Chicago man shot in the face on May 29 by a gunman who fired about a dozen shots into a residence; two 19-year-old women on the South Side shot to death as they sat in a parked car a few hours earlier; a 16-year-old boy fatally stabbed with his own knife that same day. This past weekend, 80 Chicagoans were shot in drive-by shootings, 21 fatally, the victims overwhelmingly black. Police shootings are not the reason that blacks die of homicide at eight times the rate of whites and Hispanics combined; criminal violence is.
The latest in a series of studies undercutting the claim of systemic police bias was published in August 2019 in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. The researchers found that the more frequently officers encounter violent suspects from any given racial group, the greater the chance that a member of that group will be fatally shot by a police officer. There is “no significant evidence of antiblack disparity in the likelihood of being fatally shot by police,” they concluded.
A 2015 Justice Department analysis of the Philadelphia Police Department found that white police officers were less likely than black or Hispanic officers to shoot unarmed black suspects. Research by Harvard economist Roland G. Fryer Jr. also found no evidence of racial discrimination in shootings. Any evidence to the contrary fails to take into account crime rates and civilian behavior before and during interactions with police.
The false narrative of systemic police bias resulted in targeted killings of officers during the Obama presidency. The pattern may be repeating itself. Officers are being assaulted and shot at while they try to arrest gun suspects or respond to the growing riots. Police precincts and courthouses have been destroyed with impunity, which will encourage more civilization-destroying violence. If the Ferguson effect of officers backing off law enforcement in minority neighborhoods is reborn as the Minneapolis effect, the thousands of law-abiding African-Americans who depend on the police for basic safety will once again be the victims.
The Minneapolis officers who arrested George Floyd must be held accountable for their excessive use of force and callous indifference to his distress. Police training needs to double down on de-escalation tactics. But Floyd’s death should not undermine the legitimacy of American law enforcement, without which we will continue on a path toward chaos.

VIDEO: Female Cop Savagely Beaten, Watch The Reaction From Citizens
The shocking moment a female police officer was savagely beaten by a group of men and almost knocked under a bus by a flying kick to her chest was caught on video. But, perhaps more shocking than the brutal assault is what passersby did as it unfolded.

Shocking video footage was captured after two men brutally attacked a policeman and his female colleague. Captured via mobile phone and posted to Twitter, the two officers are seen being beaten by two men in tracksuits and hoodies. The suspects relentlessly punched and kicked both the male and female officer.
The male attackers dragged the policeman away from his patrol car and kicked him, according to Daily Mail. The female officer tried to pull them off her colleague. Sadly, she failed as one of the suspects kicked her to the ground. To the horror of viewers, the suspect nearly knocked the female officer under a bus as he lands a flying kick to her chest.
The clip was recorded by a man in his car at 7:55 pm on a Saturday night as music played in the background. It is believed to have taken place in Merton, which is southwest of London, where the murder count reached 122 over the same weekend this incident occurred. But, perhaps more shocking than the violence is the public’s reaction to seeing a cop savagely beaten.
Not only are scores of people seen walking past without stopping to help the officers, but a bus also drives straight past the chaos, nearly running over a downed officer, without stopping to intervene. Perhaps even more disgusting, the video was uploaded to Twitter with the caption, “South London at night. Lol.” I don’t think the social media user would be “laughing out loud” if the officers involved were their loved ones, though.

As passersby ignored the assault, one heroic moped rider, seen wearing a helmet, finally stepped in to lend a hand. With the help of the good Samaritan, the policeman managed to get the attacker off of him and pinned him down. According to a Met Police spokesman, a 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and assaulting an emergency services worker.
The suspect that was apprehended was also charged with driving without a license or insurance after being stopped by police. Police report that two other men were actually involved, although only one of them is seen in the video footage. They are still at large at the time of this report.

Although the Twitter user who posted the clip seemly found it funny, other social media users certainly did not. “How people can find this funny is beyond me….. and to film it and not even bother to help!!” one person responded, adding, “These people would be the first to ask for services when needed!” Sharing similar sentiments, another wrote, “Not even the slightest bit funny. If it was the other way round, there’d be riots in the streets lol. Have some respect,” while yet another added, “Shame on you for filming this and not trying to help.”
Indeed, this is no laughing matter, and no one would find it amusing in the least if the roles were reversed. Sadly, it’s becoming a problem all around the world as police officers are not only disrespected and assaulted simply for the uniform they wear. But, law enforcement officers are people too. They deserve to be treated with the same human decency and respect that the public expects from them. Make no mistake, an unprovoked attack on a cop is an attack on civilized society. This kind of chaos shouldn’t be tolerated — let alone laughed at.

AN ACTUAL CRAIG'S LIST
PERSONALS AD
To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah night before last.
Date: 2019,18th, 1:43 am E.S.T.
I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled
the knife on me and my girlfriend, threatening our lives. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message.
First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment; I didn't expect you to actually crap in your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. The evening was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason. my girlfriend was happy that I just returned safely from my 2nd tour as a Combat Marine in Afghanistan.
She had just bought me that Kimber Custom Model 1911 .45 ACP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening. Obviously you agree that it is a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head ... isn't it?!
I know it probably wasn't fun walking back to wherever you'd come from with crap in your pants.
I'm sure it was even worse walking bare-footed since I made you leave your shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. (That prevented you from calling or running to your buddies to come help mug us again).
After I called your mother or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, I explained the entire episode of what you'd done.
Then I went and filled up my gas tank as well as those of four other people in the gas station, -- on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 153 gallons and was extremely grateful!
I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all the cash in your wallet.
[That made his day!]
I then threw your wallet into the big pink "pimp mobile" that was parked at the curb ... after I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver's side of the car.
Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Trump as my possible target.
The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number etc).
In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you ... but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider, the career path you've chosen
to pursue in life. Remember, next time you might not be so lucky.
Have a good day!
Thoughtfully yours,
Semper fi,
Alex
