Listen directly to the actual event, not the "news/opinion" reporters

Weaselly reporter asks Pence to throw Trump under the bus as soon as he leaves presser

President Donald Trump declared that America will be “back very quickly” after dealing with the coronavirus crisis, speaking to reporters on the outbreak at a White House press briefing. As ...

www.bizpacreview.com

I actually listened to the conference this morning by Trump, Pence, Fauci,  ADM Brett Giroir, Assistant Secretary for Health, and Ben Carson,  and this news report is true – it struck me that the reporters were rarely asking helpful questions but instead were snarky, interrupting, and trying to find an angle for blame. It was shameful. We would get a very biased and wrong impression if we only listen to what reporters tell us to think and if we don’t listen to the actual news/event.

I got the strong impression the government agencies were working  very hard at fixing this problem, from relaxing regulations keeping “industrial” masks out of the health care field when they are perfectly suitable, to pushing forward drug approval and studies, to allowing doctors to decide whether to make an “off-label” use of chloroquine and azithromycin in consultation with their patients rather than wait for FDA approval, to imploring successfully American companies to manufacture masks, ventilators, etc. and that we are responding without Trump having to mandate via the emergency war powers act, to respecting the decision by governors of highly affected states like CA, NY, IL which have dense urban populations to quarantine citizens but allowing governors of less populated states to make their own decisions.

He also threaded the needle beautifully on China by not insulting them but saying there are great people he respects there, but they should have told the world sooner and we might have prevented some deaths.

He also defended that he “didn’t act sooner” by pointing out the obvious – he stopped all flights from China very early and was called xenophobic or even racist for doing so, and now everyone admits that was the right move, as well as shutting flights from Europe.

I for one am sick of the <snip>ty, snarky coverage by the press how really adds little of value. They are backseat drivers who only know how to criticize and mock. Screw them – let them try to grapple with a situation like this in real time and see what kind of leadership and decisions they come up with. Likely zilch.

Again the main point is how important it is to get ones news from the actual source event rather than let these junior hacks tell us how to think. They are irresponsible. They’ve forgotten that a story is “who, what, when, where, how, and perhaps why”. Instead it’s their opinion piece, invariably nasty against Republicans, fawning if its Democrats. Tired of it, they are who really pulls this country apart.

Peace.

Sitting In A Bar :-)

Republican Sitting in a Bar

A union boss walks into a bar from the factory next door, and is about to order a beer when he sees a guy at the far end of the bar wearing a

"TRUMP, Make America Great Again" cap with a mug of beer sitting in

front of him.

The union boss doesn't need to be an Einstein to know that this guy is a

Republican, so he shouts over to the bartender so loudly that everyone

can hear, "Drinks for everyone in here, bartender.... but not for the

'Republican'.

Soon after the drinks have been passed out, the Republican gives him a

big smile, waves at him then says, "Thank you!" in an equally loud voice. This infuriates the 'Union Boss'.

After a few minutes, the union boss once again loudly orders drinks for

everyone except the Republican. As before, this doesn't seem to bother

the Republican. He nods and smiles, and again yells, "Thank you!"

A few more minutes pass and the union boss orders another round of

drinks for everyone except the Republican.

Frustrated that he can't seem to get the guy angered, the union boss

asks the bartender, "What is wrong with that Republican? I've ordered

three rounds of drinks for everyone in the bar but him, and all the

dummy does is smile and thank me. Is he nuts...?"

"Nope," replies the bartender. "He owns the place."

During these dangerous & incomprehendable cause a & effect times

A Great Appreciation to, His Holiness, The Dali Lama for this crucial life lesson-

“The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man! Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

Tools Explained :-)

TOOLS EXPLAINED

DRILL PRESS : A tall upright machine useful for suddenly snatching flat metal bar stock out of your hands so that it smacks you in the chest and flings your beer across the room, denting the freshly-painted project which you had carefully set in the corner where nothing could get to it.

WIRE WHEEL : Cleans paint off bolts and then throws them somewhere under the workbench with the speed of light. Also removes fingerprints and hard-earned calluses from fingers in about the time it takes you to say, 'Oh sh*t'

DROP SAW : A portable cutting tool used to make studs too short.

PLIERS : Used to round off bolt heads. Sometimes used in the creation of blood-blisters.

BELT SANDER : An electric sanding tool commonly used to convert minor touch-up jobs into major refinishing jobs.

HACKSAW : One of a family of cutting tools built on the Ouija board principle... It transforms human energy into a crooked, unpredictable motion, and the more you attempt to influence its course, the more dismal your future becomes.

VISE-GRIPS : Generally used after pliers to completely round off bolt heads. If nothing else is available, they can also be used to transfer intense welding heat to the palm of your hand.

OXYACETYLENE TORCH : Used almost entirely for lighting on fire various flammable objects in your shop. Also handy for igniting the grease inside the wheel hub out of which you want to remove a bearing race..

TABLE SAW : A large stationary power tool commonly used to launch wood projectiles for testing wall integrity.

HYDRAULIC FLOOR JACK : Used for lowering an automobile to the ground after you have installed your new brake shoes, trapping the jack handle firmly under the bumper.

BAND SAW : A large stationary power saw primarily used by most shops to cut good aluminum sheet into smaller pieces that more easily fit into the trash can after you cut on the inside of the line instead of the outside edge.

TWO-TON ENGINE HOIST : A tool for testing the maximum tensile strength of everything you forgot to disconnect.

PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER : Normally used to stab the vacuum seals under lids or for opening old-style paper-and-tin oil cans and splashing oil on your shirt; but can also be used, as the name implies, to strip out Phillips screw heads.

STRAIGHT SCREWDRIVER : A tool for opening paint cans. Sometimes used to convert common slotted screws into non-removable screws and butchering your palms.

PRY BAR : A tool used to crumple the metal surrounding that clip or bracket you needed to remove in order to replace a 50 cent part.

HOSE CUTTER : A tool used to make hoses too short.

HAMMER : Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to hit.

UTILITY KNIFE : Used to open and slice through the contents of cardboard cartons delivered to your front door; works particularly well on contents such as seats, vinyl records, liquids in plastic bottles, collector magazines, refund checks, and rubber or plastic parts. Especially useful for slicing work clothes, but only while in use.

ADJUSTABLE WRENCH: aka "Another hammer", aka "the Swedish Nut Lathe", aka "Crescent Wrench".  Commonly used as a one size fits all wrench, usually results in rounding off nut heads before the use of pliers.  Will randomly adjust size between bolts, resulting in busted buckles, curse words, and multiple threats to any inanimate objects within the immediate vicinity.

Son of a b*tch TOOL : Any handy tool that you grab and throw across the garage while yelling 'Son of a b*tch' at the top of your lungs. It is also, most often, the next tool that you will need.

James Robb, MD FCAP; What I am doing for upcoming COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

_______________

What I am doing for the upcoming COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Dr James Robb, MD FCAP

Dear Family and Friends, as some of you may recall, when I was a professor of pathology at the University of California San Diego, I was one of the first molecular virologists in the world to work on coronaviruses (the 1970s). I was the first to demonstrate the number of genes the virus contained. Since then, I have kept up with the coronavirus field and its multiple clinical transfers into the human population (e.g., SARS, MERS), from different animal sources.

The current projections for its expansion in the US are only probable, due to continued insufficient worldwide data, but it is most likely to be widespread by mid to late March and April.

Here is what I have done and the precautions that I take and will take. These are the same precautions I currently use during our influenza seasons, except for the mask and gloves.:

1) NO HANDSHAKING! Use a fist bump, slight bow, elbow bump, etc.

2) Use ONLY your knuckle to touch light switches. elevator buttons, etc.. Lift the gasoline dispenser with a paper towel or use a disposable glove.

3) Open doors with your closed fist or hip - do not grasp the handle with your hand, unless there is no other way to open the door. Especially important on bathroom and post office/commercial doors.

4) Use disinfectant wipes at the stores when they are available, including wiping the handle and child seat in grocery carts.

5) Wash your hands with soap for 10-20 seconds and/or use a greater than 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer whenever you return home from ANY activity that involves locations where other people have been.

6) Keep a bottle of sanitizer available at each of your home's entrances. AND in your car for use after getting gas or touching other contaminated objects when you can't immediately wash your hands.

7) If possible, cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue and discard. Use your elbow only if you have to. The clothing on your elbow will contain infectious virus that can be passed on for up to a week or more!

What I have stocked in preparation for the pandemic spread to the US:

1) Latex or nitrile latex disposable gloves for use when going shopping, using the gasoline pump, and all other outside activity when you come in contact with contaminated areas.

Note:  This virus is spread in large droplets by coughing and sneezing. This means that the air will not infect you! BUT all the surfaces where these droplets land are infectious for about a week on average - everything that is associated with infected people will be contaminated and potentially infectious. The virus is on surfaces and you will not be infected unless your unprotected face is directly coughed or sneezed upon. This virus only has cell receptors for lung cells (it only infects your lungs). The only way for the virus to infect you is through your nose or mouth via your hands or an infected cough or sneeze onto or into your nose or mouth.

2) Stock up now with disposable surgical masks and use them  to prevent you from touching your nose and/or mouth (We touch our nose/mouth 90X/day without knowing it!). This is the only way this virus can infect you - it is lung-specific. The mask will not prevent the virus in a direct sneeze from getting into your nose or mouth - it is only to keep you from touching your nose or mouth.

3) Stock up now with hand sanitizers and latex/nitrile gloves (get the appropriate sizes for your family). The hand sanitizers must be alcohol-based and greater than 60% alcohol to be effective.

4) Stock up now with zinc lozenges. These lozenges have been proven to be effective in blocking coronavirus (and most other viruses) from multiplying in your throat and nasopharynx. Use as directed several times each day when you begin to feel ANY "cold-like" symptoms beginning. It is best to lie down and let the lozenge dissolve in the back of your throat and nasopharynx. Cold-Eeze lozenges is one brand available, but there are other brands available.

I, as many others do, hope that this pandemic will be reasonably contained, BUT I personally do not think it will be.  Humans have never seen this snake-associated virus before and have no internal defense against it. Tremendous worldwide efforts are being made to understand the molecular and clinical virology of this virus. Unbelievable molecular knowledge about the genomics, structure, and virulence of this virus has already been achieved. BUT, there will be NO drugs or vaccines available this year to protect us or limit the infection within us. Only symptomatic support is available.

I hope these personal thoughts will be helpful during this potentially catastrophic pandemic. Good luck to all of us.

President Trump, the Nations and the Coronavirus

"President Trump, the Nations and the Coronavirus"

Johnny Enlow, Nashville, TN

There are still mysteries to be discovered regarding the "Coronavirus." This includes questions of bioengineering, 5G, why children are highly resistant to it, the Hong Kong equation, and so other many things.

Yet in the midst of it all, let it be clear that we are headed to a new day of accountability among the nations. Government leaders need to be alerted as to the raised stakes of the consequences of evil or even bad choices.

When God has no nation that raises a standard of righteousness in government, He essentially has no bar raised to call up the rest of the nations to. However, when He does have that, it puts the rest of the nations under the next level of accountability. When God has HIS lead nation of the day (USA) raise the bar, it really accelerates matters.

President Trump's 5 Moves

President Trump, whether you like him or not, has made some governmental decisions that resonate hugely in the spirit realm. The following 5 moves he has made has raised the bar. It has also placed a level of protective hedge around the nation, even if he or we are less than perfect in so many other ways.

#1. President Trump's kindness in words, deeds and actions toward and for Israel (seen most powerfully in his recognition of Jerusalem as capitol and their right to defend themselves).

The Israel equation is complicated as it is not truly a "righteous nation" and there are evil Jewish leaders in high places of influence on the "7 Mountains" (worldwide).

However, the scripture is clear that nations will be blessed or judged based on HONORING GOD by being kind/fair with Israel. The nations of the world have not been fair to Israel, and the rising anti-Semitism is not logical but demonic. It is specifically an anti-christ spirit and in government it carries a national consequence.

When the lead nation (USA) of the world properly leads the world in this area, your resistance to follow becomes more costly in many ways, beginning with economic realities. If you want to instantly improve your economic prospectus before God as a nation, then as a government leader, consider fairness towards Israel.

#2. President Trump's words, deeds and actions are promoting religious freedom.

#3. President Trump's words, deeds and actions are promoting protection of the unborn.

#4. President Trump's words, deeds and actions are promoting an end to human-trafficking.

#5. President Trump's words, deeds and actions are removing those in power who are clearly corrupt and evil.

For clarity's sake, if President Trump cussed like a sailor, looked at other women, was rough in his responses to those who attack him, was reactive or failed in the "fruit of the Spirit" in many areas—NONE OF THOSE matter in comparison. He was not called to be your pastor—go to church for that. He was called to be your president and he is acing that assignment. Furthermore, he is doing that better than ANY previous American president. His stand on the above matters are legendary in the annals of Heaven and ultimately will be so on Earth.

Nor are the above 5 the only heroic things he has done. His moves with the economy have been a game-changer, and this he has done while great enemies have been actively trying to kill the economy in their attempt to derail Trump's God-given assignment.

The coronavirus is a part of this, but it too will fail—because God has chosen Trump to trump the enemy in move after move. Even when Trump feels overwhelmed and is unsure how to proceed, God is still turning his halfhearted/not-sure decisions into "home runs". This will not stop happening.

A New Day of Accountability

If you have access to government leaders around the world, consider passing on this alert to them. (I already know my posts make it to the top of government in some nations.) We are in a new day of accountability and consequences, and they need to be alerted. Things they got away with before they won't get away with now. Conversely tough decisions in the right direction will cover and bless them in ways they hadn't expected nor can clearly project.

The Rest of the Story: THE LEFT'S Reality RECORD

THE LEFT’S RECORD

Cory Booker introduced 120 bills. 0 passed. Kamala Harris introduced 54 bills. 0 passed.

But Bernie Sanders is truly special. He never held a job until he was finally elected mayor AT AGE 53. He lived off of WELFARE and four different women, had a child out-of-wedlock with one and the three marriages did not work out. In all his years in the Senate, he introduced 364 bills. 3 passed. Two of those were to name post offices.

PS:

What kind of leader is Bernie?  See Wikipedia.   The following is condensed:

Bernie Sanders’ father was a high school drop-out, who tormented his family with rants about their financial problems.  He blamed society and economic inequality for his plight, though as a white male in a middle class neighborhood, he was hardly among the downtrodden.   This was Bernie’s inspiration to take up the cause of economic justice, though he would spend half of his life as an able-bodied college graduate living off of unemployment checks, and the women in his life, between odd jobs.  By his own admission, Bernie was not a great student, starting at Brooklyn College and transferring to Univ. of Chicago, but his enrollment kept him protected from the draft.

He joined socialist organizations and dabbled in far-left communist politics, gaining national notoriety by petitioning the school to let students have sex in the dormitories.  This was before birth control and abortion were legal. He participated in the 1963 March on Washington, a few demonstrations, and was arrested once, but his activism for civil rights ended when he became obsessed with socialism. NOT “democratic socialism”, but oppressive far-left MARXISM.    Bernie married his college sweetheart, Deborah Shilling, and spent his small inheritance on a summer home in Vermont on 85 acres. The shack had a dirt floor and no electricity, maintaining his proletariat credibility, but not impressing his new bride.   He refused to get a steady job, so his wife didn’t stick around long, divorced after 18 months.

The Viet Nam war was escalating, and when the next draft was announced, Bernie applied for a conscientious objector deferment. His deferment was denied, so he dodged the draft by having a kid out of wedlock in 1969 with his new girlfriend, Susan Mott, even though he STILL wasn’t working, and had no way to support the child.   By the time his draft number came up, he was too old to be drafted anyway. He continued to subsist on odd carpentry jobs and unemployment checks, and occasionally selling $15 articles, including the one about how women fantasize about gang rape.  He still refused to get a steady job to support his child.

His girlfriend left him. In 1988 he married Jane Driscoll, and took a cold-war era honeymoon in communist USSR. His new wife supported Bernie financially through his many attempts to win a public office, and shared his radical leftist political views.

They visited the pro-Soviet Sandinista Government in Nicaragua known for their human rights violations, support for anti-American terrorists, and the imprisonment and exile of opponents.  Bernie blindly overlooked the carnage to stand with fellow socialists.  They traveled to CUBA in hopes of meeting BERNIE’S HERO FIDEL CASTRO, but access to him was denied.

Bernie Sanders managed not to hold a full-time job his entire life or vote in a single election, until he finally ran for Mayor of Burlington at the age of 40. After several failed elections, he finally won the office of Mayor of Burlington, VT, and eventually a Senate seat, which he has managed to keep off and on.   For all of his years representing Vermont, Bernie Sanders passed a total of three bills, and two of them were for naming post offices.

He’s a draft-dodging deadbeat dad, a globe-trotting communist dilettante, and a petulant detractor of hard-working honorable Democrats. His one skill is yelling about how unfair the world is, and how everything SHOULD be. But he has no plans for how to make it happen, and no idea what goes on in the rest of the world or how to deal with problems overseas.
