Before You Ever Think of Winning, Better Check GOOGLE First...
Whenever I google people I know, usually their Facebook profile comes up on the first results page. That is one of the reasons I left FB in May 2012 and have not looked back. I also got tired of reading updates such as oh I'm at CVS, woop woop! or Just about to take a bath, anybody wanna join me? o_O Anyways trying to be completely anonymous in this interconnected era is an exercise at futility. You would have to not own a car, pay all your bills in cash and have to use someone elses name to

Office Pool agreements...
I don't think it matters if the buyer gets his personal tickets at that store because their personal tickets will not be photographed and emailed/texted to members. BuyLow I like this contract. Even a Harvard educated lawyer would find a hard time looking for loopholes. Goodluck!

Pick 3 Skip chart, is chart useful for filtering ideas?
For the D Filters (Dynamic filters) I am going to write an optimizer. I will probably have 2 buttons 50% probability, and 75% probability. It would then try to calculate the tightest settings for all of the D filters to achieve 50% accuracy or 75% accuracy over the last 100 draws. 100 is aribitrary so I might make it configurable. It would probably re-calibrate these settings when you updated the draws. Once upon a time I wrote a loader that would optimize the loading of TSR's into the UMB me

Mass. Lottery bases advertising hire on diversity
Pure ignorance. Maybe in your day when sexism and racism was the norm in society, that was acceptable. A few years ago, I heard an executive say that women weren't good for leadership positions because they aren't focused and make decisions based on emotions instead of facts. He shared his ignorant broad generalization like he was giving us some unrefutable knowledge. That's how a bigoted mind works and they are more than a few people like that out there. That's why diveristy rules are still nee

Should Gloria Share With Mindy?
I'm in need. Remember that. OK, we have a contract now. I'll have my lawyers get in touch to get the details worked out (I'm fine with half).

Is it a blessing or a curse winning the lottery really late in life??
I've given a lot of thought to this, ever since one of those lump sum or annuity? posts. I commented that I opt for the lump sum because I might not be around in 30 years to see the last check...or if I am, I might not remember my name to endorse it. If I won such a huge sum of money, I might just buy or have built a luxury nursing home/long-term care facility. It wouldn't have to be huge, perhaps only a dozen or so units, enough for me and some of my peer group; my best friends from child

Playing the Lottery as a Business
Hey you!! It's so good to see you again as well!! Yeah, I've been away on some contract work, but I'll be hangin' out here as usual now. Last I remember, you had posted a couple of nice wins...and then I joined you. Sure hope you're still winning, and, even more regularly!! You know, somewhere within the past topics, I've clearly said and described how a player must treat the smaller (Pick3/Pick4) games as a real business. That is, if they're going to be successful financially. L.L.

Maryland lets problem gamblers exclude themselves from lottery
I might sign up for this myself..lol Maybe these volunteers will be the faces under secret contract to win the MONSTER jackpots from Mega Million and Powerball. MM and PB will select one of these volunteers and pay them off with a few million for a good story, publicity, and to keep their mouth shut.... the rest PB/MM will keep for themselves. This story just seems odd..lol I can't imagine anyone volunteering to fork over winnings. If the lotto wanted to help people kick habits then maybe the

Maryland lets problem gamblers exclude themselves from lottery
I can't believe anybody would be so stupid as to sign a contract to give some government bureaucrat/schmucks even MORE control over their private life. Unbelievable. Welcome to the Machine.
