Tucker, I think you misunderstood. My numbers 1 and 2 are just things to be considered and decided upon when setting up the agreement/contract for the lottery pool. I have not read every article in the universe about lottery pool troubles, but I have read quite a few over the years about payment issues and ticket purchases. Interest point of view but the beautiful thing about blockchain (the technology that crypto raffles are on) is that the rules are set in stone (in code) and nobody can change it and everyone can read them. They call it a Smart Contract. Its essentially temper proof and nobody controls it - its decentralized. Thats what i love about it so far. I can see the entire thing in real time.
