State lawmaker calls for Illinois Lottery probe in light of audit findings
Lottery head resigns, another possible winner payout shutdown looms A state lawmaker is calling for an investigation of the Illinois Lottery after a recent audit revealed it had violated the state finance law. The audit found that the Lottery circumvented the state's budget impasse by prepaying $20 million to take part in future multi-state lottery games, such as Powerball and Mega Millions. State Rep. Jack Franks, D-Marengo, said he wants either Illinois State Attorney General Lisa Mad

Lottery system 99% effective legal matters question
..... a system that can with 99% of effectiveness predict a result of lotteries. Seriously ??? !!! ... Let's use some COMMON SENSE .... !!! Americans do not typically play Euro millions !!! Even if you did win, we would lose our investment, for the simple fact that YOU, whoever you are, cannot be TRUSTED to divide any sum of the winnings with an American investor !!! We don't know you from the MAN IN THE MOON !!! Also, It is Very Unlikely that any Lottery Contract drawn up for this

Lottery system 99% effective legal matters question
The age is explained, do you need to see my ID,I don't mind,it should be somewhere in this apartment. The parentheses addon is exactly what it says, I made up those numbers because what I wanted to express was that I could rise the odds drastically. I think it's self explanatory, I literally say I just made this Up . There is no way to be more explicit. Xd Give 3rt parties numbers because, if they ban me, they may not pay if If I win ffairly(there is some cases where the lottery guys just do

Illinois Lottery not paying big winners because state legislature won't pass budget
If ever there was a reason to never take an annuity payment here it is. So many people here have told me payment is guaranteed regardless of what's going on in the state or country, and I've always said believing anything is 100% guaranteed when it comes to money is insane. Seriously, who would have thought that they could tell you, we acknowledge you won,we know we're contracted to pay you, but we've opted not to pay you until we work out our own stalemate . I'm really surprised there are

Powerball changing in October to generate bigger jackpots
Well, this is bad news, the state's are running up too big of unmerited contract bills/wages/salaries/construction projects and materials! Why shouldn't these state's be forced by their Governor to cease this irresponsible/hurtful behavior; instead of making each state's on-line gamblers pay for their chronic out of control spending? This year's Powerball balls re-arrangement also isn't being celebrated by me. After all, Powerball only had 11 jackpots won last year! This year will probabl

New York: 5/1 - 5/31/2015
Thanks. Forgot I played that one. I'll take the box hit. When I saw what came out I was pissed because I know I played the double 8's with the 30. I'm def. adding 2208 tonight. Look what happen on March 1 this year. I remember why I played it now. Yesterday I played 0448 str8 and the 8 decided to takeover the 0. I was doing a couple of mods with Rex's futures contract that hit on the 14th: 0313 and I ended up with 8313 and 8303. 3308 hit last month on the 15th. So I'll add the num

California store owner sues customer for half of $1M lottery prize
We are talking California Law, there is that lunacy to contend with. The Judge freezing the assets, says it will move forward to trial. Anyone know if both persons were given exact executed copies of the contract? Not a fan of the lady going public with comments. She should have been warned to neither admit or comment during trial time. As a lawyer said once, you can't get in trouble for what you do not say.

California store owner sues customer for half of $1M lottery prize
Until someone can explain to me (with a logical and convincing argument) why this shop owner would be buying a perfect stranger tickets, for her to split with him, I don't care what she signed, he would not be getting a dime. They aren't related, they aren't friends, they aren't coworkers. Their relationship seems to only be that he sells tickets and she's generous and superstitious. His argument is full of holes. If they really had an agreement, why did he wait until after she won to have h

Claiming as a legal entity
We don't have a contract, but we've already agreed to the lump sum. I do give a copy of the tickets to each member, so we all know which numbers are ours'. In addition, the tickets I buy for the group are multidraw tickets which cover 4 drawings between paydays. My personal tickets are single draw purchased on different days at different stores, so there's no chance of confusion. We've been playing for many years now and the best we've done is around $100 during one 2 week round, other tha

TLC The Lottery Changed My Life...on again
LOL. Not really. Whenever I catch an old episode of TLCML that I haven't seen in a while, I do a Google search on the winners or their businesses. The guy didn't lose the bar because of a lawsuit, he and his partners had issues and he was sued by a third entity over a contract breach or something to that effect, so that dream he had didn't materialize. No idea what happened to the young fiancee he had and I can find no evidence that he went broke or bankrupt, just that the music bar did. I
