Indiana man says store cost him $11.5M lottery jackpot
A spokeswoman for the Hoosier Lottery said retailers can set their own hours for selling and redeeming lottery tickets as long as they cut off sales by 10:40 p.m. It's up to the individual retail location, Lucia Anderson said. Josh Brown, another of Andrews' lawyers, said the law isn't explicit. There is no statute addressing the retail hours and whether they can set it or not set it, he said. Brown noted that the contract between the lottery agency and retailers requires stores to

How many pre-test draws are normal?
Sorry it took so long to reply to this i was in the hospital for a little over a week. A good argument could be made by the lottery is their procedures are their intellectual property and not to be disclosed. Since they admit to changing tubes and holding pre draws and after draws their admitting to the public that they conduct these things be in accordance with whatever by laws they have in their proprietary contract. Lotteries have data bases where the drawing info is kept Mary

Would you?
I think I would have to pass on that deal. It would take all the fun out of it. Of course you would be able to bless -- forgive me I just finished reading the post about gambling and religion -- you would be able to bless a lot of folks if you took the deal, but that would be like feeding the recipient of your gift for a day versus teaching them to fish for a livelihood. The results would be too short lived. Anyway, for me, it is all about the thrill of the chase. The analytical part of it wh

LP workouts/systems compilation BIBLE since LP inception...For sale to general public
You'd be better off coming up with your own fantastic system, publishing your own book, keeping your share of the money. Too many cooks spoil the soup. Can you imagine the royalties nightmare? Could you imagine the contract? Could you imagine the lawsuits? $50,000 isn't enough to smooth over the rough spots. I just got an instant headache. I like my number crunching headaches better.

New Hampshire crushes lottery winners with new 10% tax
Don't ride the bus. If people don't buy the tickets for a month - or even a few weeks they will change their tune. Trust me. I blogged about the parking meter rates going up, they had to lower them because people stopped using the meters and parked in parking lots. ROFL!!! Justice! See? Don't ride the bus! Same thing, if you don't make purchases they always come to their senses, unless they are completely brain dead. Ooops! Most if not all politicians are brain dead ------and I will STRE

Office Pool Lotto Questions
Hello Davidtn, I had a office pool going for about a year but had to stop it because people did not want to pay but still wanted to win, so I gave them all discharge letters and had them to sign and date a form that said that they had officially ended their ties with my pool. I am going to be starting up a new one with a better staff and less people. **Each member can pick their own numbers or have QP's if they want or just do half and half **Each member had to contribute the same dolla

Piqua lottery winners sued by co-workers
Another office pool, another lawsuit. It seems a bit unlikely that the people in the pool would refuse them their share if this was a legit case. The pool even had no problem with 1 person getting two shares, because he put an extra dollar in for his mom. That would make it seem clear that the pool required you to actually put in 1 dollar per share for a given drawing. Also, since these people each put in a dollar for this pool, any winnings that did roll over would give the other 4 a s
