Florida Pick 2 Could Be Rigged
More likely to be one-off than hit. Basic statistics.
Much like matching 4 out of 5 on a jackpot game, which very frequently occurs. For example, PA Cash 5 (5/43) jackpot odds is 1 in 962,598 while 4 out of 5 odds is 1 in 5,066. Sure, matching 4 out of 5 seems close, but is actually ~190 times more difficult. Same idea with Keno. Sure 6 out of 7 seems close, but is far from it.
A $1K prize liability is nothing for a state lottery. Even for Pick-2, $1K is relatively small. In PA, Pick-2 reg

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Welcome to The Lottery Post.
Usually chasing a win is a losing proposition. There have been a couple of times where members have done very well trying to find big winners. There have been many other times where it has cost members large amounts of money.
Playing the scratch games where relatively few books remain with possible big prizes left is a way to increase your odds of hitting a big prize. The big unknown is were the winning tickets purchased and discarded by mistake or was it

State lotteries losing revenue to 'jackpot fatigue' and casinos
I am one of the few that I have seen actually playing regular pick 6 lotto game here in Illinois in my area
In past people have commented No one wins that and complain about what is often an endless amount of rollovers
With odds of 1:20,358,520 to win jackpot that tends to happen often and can make people play less or give up on game
Personally think Illinois should drop matrix back to former 6/48 instead of current 6/52. 6/48 matrix odds for jackpot would be 1:12,271,512

State lotteries losing revenue to 'jackpot fatigue' and casinos
Lotteries, by and large, rely on most players being near totally ignorant of the odds of the games being offered combined with horrible payback low as 40%. For a long time the strategy has worked due in large part to the novelty of games offering higher and higher jackpots at a nominal cost. $1 for a dream.
However, that model is waning as the jackpot amounts no longer generate much excitement. $10 million annuity was once a big deal (yes really, way back), then later over $100 million (long

T-minus and counting. 112 days until...
Good point ressuccess. The Mega Millions, held the record for a long time with better odds until it was broken by PB. With similar odds it is possible. The really mind-boggling thing is that when they change the matrix, you are going to have two almost identical games.
PB will be 5/69 and 1/26, whereas MM will be 5/70 and 1/25.
I wonder the genius who came up with that idea.
That's why this is the last chance for virtually anybody to win a Jackpot using skill.
How many rolls did it

Wisconsin SuperCash $$
Years ago I had a theory on supercash which was... Sooner or later 12 would be the high number so everyday I ran a 5 dollar play slip with various combinations of numbers between 1 or 2 through 12. I don't remember how long I ran that slip but it was a long time.
At the time I ran my ticket at a gas station and got to know the attendant quite well. Eventually I moved about 20 miles away and soon after that I stopped playing supercash for a while.
Well you know what happened. I drove throu

Post your scratch ticket results
You're absolutely right, and the lotteries use marketing tactics to continually increase their revenue.
For some people, to not play is to win. I started playing scratchoffs Jan 2016 after receiving some $1/$2 scratchoffs for Christmas, and I didn't even know scratchoff tickets existed before receiving them. I had a spree of beginner's luck encountering 6 $500 winners in one weekend, and then a $1k winner during that same span of time. After that, I encountered probably a 6 month dry streak

(New member) Have any of you broken down a keno game?
While identifying and understanding patterns is helpful, I would advise that you focus your energies on developing a method of picking within a given pattern. I spent a lot of time trying to find the optimum pattern so that I could have my computer make all my picks for me. What I found was that while some patterns may have offered better odds than just picking randomly from the big pool of numbers, in the end I still had to figure out the best way of making a 1 in X choice and that I was better

How the Lottery Numbers are picked
All you need to do is this....2 things.
1) Watch a drawing on Texas Lottery website.
2) Pick any jackpot game, Lotto, MM, PB, or 2 Step, or AoN, or Triple Chance. Even Cash 5.
Upon picking any game of your choice, or all if you wish, look at the ODDS of winning a jackpot. Let that number slowly seep into your mind. Just gaze longingly at that big number. Take as much time as you need.
Then....slowly realize that's why you and most others will never win a jackpot. With the odds we are
