Would u pay for lottery numbers if its guaranteed for u to get numbers
OK. I see that sales end at 1:05 PM Daily. Start posting the 30 lines 10-15 minutes before then in this thread and then post the winning numbers 10-15 minutes after the draw and we will see what happens for a few draws.

2026 tax rates now published at USA Mega
I am very thankful to be in a non-state-ncome-tax state. We have other taxes of course(sales)and Home Ins just jumped up by 20%...But it is reasonable here.

2026 lottery headlines you hope to see
Powerball raises price to $5. Millions swear they will never play again. PB also adds numbers to pick from. Eight draws later PB sets record for sales for one draw. Players who insisted they'd never play again say that PB is still the better game.

$1.7 BILLION: Will Powerball create a Christmas billionaire?
The power play is not worth the extra dollar. Those dollars should be used to buy more 2.00 tickets. They wouldn't offer the power play if it was more beneficial to the player than to the lotteries overall volume of sales.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $1.7 billion for the December 24 draw after a record 46 rolls. The estimated probability that it will be won is 29.3%. This is the highest recorded probability for this run. Interesting to note, sales are projected to increase dramatically for the Saturday draw given the projected probability of a winning jackpot is 61.8%. The large jackpot will most likely not make it to the new year.

No winner again: Powerball jackpot hits $1.6 billion in longest-ever rollover run
Estimate was way off. They missed by even more in than MM missed back in October 2018 when they advertised a $1.6 billion jackpot and only managed 1.537. Depending on the metric you choose PB missed by almost 2 1/2 times as much as MM did. MM advertised an annuity increase of $600 million and missed by 10.5%. Powerball advertised a nominal annuity increase of $250 million and missed by 26%. Could be an indicator of lotto fatigue. Jackpot growth has definitely slowed down in general

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Mega Millions jackpot increased by $10 million to $90 million. The supported jackpot is $78.8 million. In a earlier run where the jackpot reached the record $983 million, the supported jackpot was $66.9 million. The probability the jackpot will be won in the next draw is estimated at 1.9%. There will probably be several $10 million increases in the jackpot before it is fully funded by sales.

$1.1 BILLION: Powerball jackpot increased in longest-ever winless streak
No, they kept about $86 million. I assume the video explains it, but the very first thing they do is skim 50% of sales for the states. The $100 million back to the new jackpot is actually about $45.8 million (of the $86 million for prizes) but if you let them invest it for you they'll eventually give you $100 million more than if you'd won on Saturday.

Answer Me This...
The player base may be somewhat different for the day and night draws. PA took the match 6 to daily draws and judging from how slow the jackpot grows, they also lost some sales. Then they took the cash 5 and doubled the ticket price... same thing. PA sticks to their formula for jackpot games, only tier 1 is a decent prize... Who knows what they are thinking when they make such decisions... someone is winning and it is usually not the players.

Answer Me This...
Wouldn't they make a lot more money from the extra ticket sales? Maybe not double but perhaps 1.5x what they were getting with one draw?
