Estimate was way off. They missed by even more in than MM missed back in October 2018 when they advertised a $1.6 billion jackpot and only managed 1.537. Depending on the metric you choose PB missed by almost 2 1/2 times as much as MM did. MM advertised an annuity increase of $600 million and missed by 10.5%. I am with you with the old-timed concerns. Here I was expressing ADDITIONAL concerns. I am used to see that the sales percentage increase v. the same day of the prior week should go up once the jackpot increases. The changes are very enticing. I have always added the Megaplier and for me the addition will be from $3 to $5. A $2 increase as opposed to a $3 increase. I don't know if that makes it feel better but I love the 10X win - 10M sounds good. The 10M makes it match close to the PB Double Play which is available for $4 in some states.
