Illinois Lottery cuts ties with private manager
Remember how the lotteries were originally managed by their respective states?
Now they turn it over to a private company which promises better income to the states ,at a price of course.
If the private co. does not produce as projected, they risk losing their contract with the state.
We are all witnessing more games with higher costs per ticket which is supposed to produce more income, however, this does not always produce the desired effect.

My Molars fall out but three at a time
I had the weirdest dream last night my molars started falling out during my break time at work. First what I will call a set of molars since I don't remember how many but I know were more than one. Few moments later another set what it looks like three but the I could hear the buzzard ringing because I was late on my break and the last set of three fall. This time I decided to look before throwing then on the floor. I was stunned I was thinking oh.. I'll need fake teeth know somehow Kat show up

Audit: Stores buying Michigan lottery tickets from players
Perhaps discounting is legal in the general sense, but it is still against lottery regulations which makes it illegal in terms of the retailer's agreement. So essentially, a breach in contract that would leave the door open for a lawsuit from the state. Not to mention aiding tax evasion, but that would be difficult to prove.
This takes the cake though:
Six store owners didn't report $509,211 in lottery winnings on their 2012 tax forms.
If they are not reporting winnings on their taxes (

Would you quit your job if you won the lottery?
Honestly, I would keep working for two reasons.
The benefits. Through my union contract, I have health benefits (Full medical, dental, prescription drug, and accidental death), legal benefits (I can get a lawyer at no cost whenever I need one.)
2. Ever since Bernie Madoff, there has been no such thing as financial security anymore. People lost hundreds of millions in an instant.

(Just For fun)- You part of a pool where one of the members decides...
One individual cannot change the terms of an agreement unless there's a meeting of the minds with all parties involved.
The reason lottery pools are such a problem is that most don't spell out the terms of the agreement. If the pool administrator or his designated ticket buyer buys extra tickets using the extra contribution they've implicitly agreed to the new terms. There's a chance they could win a lawsuit, but there's a chance it would cost them as much to win it as it would to just pay

if a lottery official's kid won either the PB/MM jackpot. ..
Sure, people can sue for anything. This is a sue happy country full of ambulance chasers.
But the rules are the rules. That is SOP for any company with contests or promotions, that employees and their family are excluded.
To win a lottery prize, you must follow all the rules of the game that determines a winner. But there are many more rules than stated on the website or playslip. The official rules. You may not see them, but they are always in effect. From the CA Lottery official rules:

This lottery is something else. Every time you turn around the company who
bought the Illinois lottery is making changes. And not for the good. And now they
want to make us computerized in June when there contract is up. I enjoy watching
the drawings on tv. I hope it dont happen.

Arizona Lottery
I agree with Todd. Arizona might just have a crappy webmaster,(not like ours ) or they unveiled the website without ironing out the kinks.
(Or they all might just be hustlers.)
I think the best solution might be for arizona to contract Todd as their data manager, after all he has a few connections, and some mild progamming talent.

Wyoming Lottery commission selects vendor
In a major step toward getting a statewide lottery up and running, the Wyoming Lottery Corp. board on Friday selected international gaming giant Intralot as the state's lottery vendor, pending negotiation of a contract with the company.
Intralot, based in Athens, Greece, would provide the machines from which Powerball and Mega Millions tickets would be purchased as well as other technical services.
Board chairman Brian Scott Gamroth said the step provides a light at the end of the tunnel,

How To Determine Winning Scratch-Off Lotto Tickets – Texas
I also would like to see an example of this to compare to FL. Does Scientific Games have the contract for Texas tickets like FL? I would think that the TLC were not the ones that created the algorithm and left that to the vendor and I doubt they develop one for each indivdual state, though it might be possible.
I tried following the match/exercises, but I'm getting lost tracking some of the numbers. Maybe the TX tickets are different? But I'd like to see if there is a similar pattern in FL b
