Secrets of a lottery lawyer-Kurt Panouses interview
I too watched that particular BW video regarding Kurt Panouses's fees.
I read a lot the comments that were posted along with the video too. Just like any video on YouTube, some comments were ridiculous, but some were definitely worth reading. There are over 1,300 comments attached to the video and I did not read all of them.
There are multiple comments that echoed the same sentiment regarding Panouses's estimated fee of $18,000 to $20,000. Many people commented that a fee of $18,000 to

Oregon lottery kept my $1500 winning ticket
I don't know of any help anyone here could give you. Looks like you need to find a way to get to the lottery office to make your case. Since you need money for your family, stay away from the video lottery establishments. That is a quick way to spend a lot of money quickly.

Secrets of a lottery lawyer-Kurt Panouses interview
In the video I watched, this guy gave a couple examples of how he was able to find a way for his client to claim anonymously in states that were not anonymous. In one state he said he studied the wording of the law and worked with the state Attorney General who agreed with his interpretation. I guess I'd have to get a signed agreement that he can do that in Idaho, and if not, I owe him only a few hundred bucks for his time investigating it.

people calling him before they even win is hilarious. he should do a video about all the crazies who contact him.
can he practice law in georgia? has he been contacted by any georgians who claim the lottery has been stalking them and purposely dodging on their numbers? what are his thoughts on people signing their tickets 'i know nothing'?

Arizona Lottery delays expiration date of $12.8 million jackpot-winning ticket in legal battle
A n unprecedented move by the AZ Lottery, extending the expiration date, which would have been yesterday(May 23). What future problems will arise by extending the expiration date of the winning ticket? I can think of hundreds. And this extension of the expire date was all at the request of Circle K. They probably do have an interest in being awarded this money. Now the manager cannot be located to be served his summons. HMMM....did he quit? Doubt it. Did Circle K fire him. Probably. Will his abs

Oregon lottery kept my $1500 winning ticket
I heard this for 2026
Starting January 1, 2026, the federal jackpot tax reporting threshold increases from $1,200 to $2,000
I assume this applies since the huff n puff I have played in casinos is a video slot machine.
So should not be reported via W-2G. I guess it's up to you on whether you report the earned income. It might be an interesting poll if the $500 Pick 3 Winners report as income. I would expect most people if they itemize deductions would show a gambling loss for the yea
