DC Lottery remixes DC 3, DC 4, and DC 5 draw games into scratch-off games
Originally thought it was a in collaboration with the draw games , That would have been a fiasco to manage.
It is a rather simple means to play if you got the funds. Sometimes the characters/symbols on these scratch offs are hard to differentiate.
Its new to the DC players so there is that.

EXCLUSIVE: Weeks-long computerized draw error prevented many DC Lottery tickets from winning a prize
YES they do! But also they see them (ball drawings) as a added EXPENSE that they can cut. In todays business world people get a bonus when they find ways to CUT costs. Marketing for lotteries seems to have been cut across the board. They just keep creating more expensive games (especially scratch offs) just putting out a press release for marketing. Until sales drop they will not go back to ball drawings.
Thanks again for doing what you do in contacting them!
How long would this have g

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I think they're doing a raffle as just a way to shake it up and try something different. Raffles do well in other states, so maybe they can catch on here too.
I'd think that a first or second time (in so many years) might fly under the radar, but bring awareness to this new way to play after it concludes and later if a new round begins. This round would advertise the next, so to speak, as people who didn't play hear about the winnings. A loss of revenue once isn't a loss if it becomes a spri

Once homeless, now a lottery winner: Colorado man gets his $1 million comeback
Tough sales day leads to a big break in luck
By Kate Northrop
What seemed like an impossible situation is now one Colorado man's reality after he successfully lifted himself out of homelessness and proceeded to win $1 million in the lottery.
A formerly homeless Colorado man worked to remove himself from his unfortunate circumstances, and in doing so indirectly won a $1 million lottery prize.
Jonathan G. was having a tough sales day while working as a cell phone representative. He

About those NC Digital Online Games...What's the verdict?
I checked this out. They operate like multi-line video slot machines. For $100, you can bet 50 cents a spin and play for hours. The purpose is to burn time. It is possible to win, but it's unlikely because of the low variance. You're grinding your money down, giving the house an average of 12% of your bet, over and over and over.
Technically the NC digital games are not slot machines. They are scratch-off tickets. I looked at one and it has 2,000,000 tickets, of which one is the jackpot.

I'm done playing the lottery
What made me mad is that both sides blamed the other.
The lottery can tell how much I spent on scratch-offs because those tickets are eligible for a second chance drawing. In their files is a list of tickets I've scanned for second chance drawing entries.
But they decided they would rather stick to their guns and blame the retailer, and while they might be right according to the official rules, I also don't have to play their games. And if I do choose to buy any tickets, it certainly won

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Considering 189,977,424 $5.00 MM combos won't match one number or the bonus number, playing games like Lucky for Life, Cash Ball 225 and Texas Two Step gives more chances to actually win something. For the same $5 the 10,000 to 1 odds of winning $25,000 playing pick 4 is much better than the 893,761 to 1 MM odds of matching 4 + 1 to win at least $10,000 depending on what the multiplier is. Granted the prize could be $100,000 but that doesn't change the odds.
It should be obvious why MUSL bel

Maryland Pick 5 lottery player wins $50,000 top prize twice using the same numbers
Identical wins two years in a row after 35 years of playing
By Kate Northrop
A longtime lottery enthusiast, who has dedicated 35 years to playing, won the Pick 5 $50,000 top prize for the second time using the same numbers.
One Maryland lottery player proved lightning can strike twice, having claimed his second $50,000 Pick 5 top prize with the same numbers that won him the first one.
Paul Cypress of Baltimore claimed his second $50,000 Pick 5 prize from the Maryland Lottery righ

North Carolina Lottery launching Cash Pop draw game this weekend
LOL. It looks like the kind of game for people that can't resist gambling every chance they get.
Which is the same for some Texas games, Pick 3, Daily 4, and All or Nothing having 4 draws a day. Lotteries aren't stupid. They know there are people out there that will throw money away playing all those draws, and the majority of them will lose more than they will ever win back.
Then there are scratch-offs....
