Bobby's Ohio Pick 3 Predictions 5/1-5/31
I'm sympathetic for the gambler. As a seasoned 62, Bobby---while bartending most of my life I was always around gamblers from running the front room sports pools to lining up the back room poker games. Punching in numbers at the machine, or handing over scratch offs. If I was still out there everyday a few feet away from a lottery kiosk I'd be playing numbers everyday. Plus buying the tickets punched in by mistake. Why? cause, I love to gamble, and I'm a degenerate too, but I finally learned you

DC Lottery introduces Washington D.C.'s first $50 scratch-off ticket
That makes sense.
Even with the top prize being only $1.52 million, this is actually a very good return for a lottery.
82.6% of the ticket price is awarded in prizes (including the second chance drawing). Previously the highest I ever saw was the Texas $50 scratch-off at 75%.
Usually a lottery will rip you off with a measly 50% payback. Some of the games are a little better at 60% but still not worth playing. If I were going to drop $50 on the lottery all at once, I would play this g

Tennessee Lottery launches online Powerball sales to combat competition from sports betting
Why would Tennessee players want to play Powerball online when Tennessee hardly ever hits. We know a few will hit to get people to buy more. My suggestion is to all Cash 3 and Cash 4. I will not sign up until Cash 3 and cash 4 are added.
Tickets sales are down because there are not a lot of big winners. People are scanning the tickets and throwing them in the trash. Please Scratch them off before tossing them.
Add Cash 3 and Cash 4 and I will sign up.

Arkansas man suppresses celebration for "confirmation" of $500,000 lottery prize
I don't play scratch off games but if I won any jackpot, I would suppress that 100% forever.
I live in a state where winners can remain anonymous and I will be that guy, suppressing everything.
Even the house fly won't know a snip thing.
Now the MM jackpot is 740M, I am not sure how successful I will be at suppressing that win. I think I would have to move to another place or state and they won't know that I used to drive a Corolla before the BMW X3

Online Scratch-off aka Instant Tickets
Massachusetts has recently begun selling scratch-off tickets online through courier services like Lotto, Jackpot, Jackpocket, and more. I'm sure many other states do as well. If you know any other couriers, please do share. Couriers make money by charging a courier fee, a percentage of the ticket's cost. My fees usually are just a few cents, which I don't mind spending for convenience.
I generally trust courier services with jackpot and pick-number games, but I haven't tried scratch-off tic

North Carolina man hides $2 million winning lottery ticket using a microwave as a safe
The last item saying that players can still win the 2 nd and 4 th tier prizes while the games is still active gets me.
Long ago, I lived in Oregon where they pulled the tickets after all the top prizes are claimed, because they can t have a game advertising a $2m top prize when there are no top prizes left to win. It becomes false advertising at that point.
I now live in Colorado, where they just don t care. They ll sell tickets as long as people buy them, regardless if there are any top

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Wanted to update/correct my previous figures, as for some reason I thought there were only three interim prize periods, and there are actually four. Bottom line, 640,900 tickets need to be sold to fund all prizes to be awarded in the Raffle (interim prizes and Grand Prizes.) The duration of the raffle is 122 days, so sales need to average 5,245 tix a day. Based on the Lottery's figure of 169,906 tix sold as of 4/17 , sales are averaging 3,540 tix/day so far. Hard to say if sales will pick up or

"I can't believe it!" North Carolina man hugs store clerk after winning $2 million prize
He was presented with the choice of either taking the one-time lump sum of $1.2 million or annual payments of $100,000 over 20 years and chose the lump sum. After federal and state taxes, he collected a total of $864,126.
I think it would be great if the prizes shown on scratch off tickets are the Lump Sum.
If it's 2M thats what it is then take off taxes.
Looks like everything must have an annuity version to make the prize look bigger and appealing.
Congratulations on the win Sh

I'm done playing the lottery
I've spent $200 on PB tickets and plenty of money on scratch-off tickets at the vending machine at Safeway on Wadsworth 38th Ave in Wheatridge, CO. I didn't win very much, which I expected given the prize structure of that game.
The last time I went there, I scanned $40 worth of winning scratch-off tickets, selected 8 $5 tickets, and when I hit check out , the machine did nothing. I asked the clerk and she told me to contact the Colorado Lottery. I did, and their response was that the retail
