Men Are Just Happier People!

What do you expect from such simple creatures? Your last name stays put. The garage is all yours. Wedding plans take care of themselves.  Chocolate is just another snack.  You can never be pregnant. You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park. You can wear NO shirt to a water park.

Car mechanics tell you the truth. The world is your urinal. You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky. You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt. Wrinkles add character.  Wedding dress - $5,000. Tux rental - $100. People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them. New shoes don't cut, blister, or mangle your feet. One mood all the time. Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat. You know stuff about tanks.

A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase. You can open all your own jars. You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend. Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Two pairs of shoes are more than enough. You almost never have strap problems in public. You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes. Everything on your face stays its original color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck.

You can play with toys all your life. One wallet and one pair of shoes - one color for all seasons.   You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can 'do' your nails with a pocket knife.   You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache. You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25 minutes.

No wonder men are happier!

NICKNAMES

• If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah.
• If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Bubba and Wildman.

EATING OUT

• When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20, even though it's only for $32.50.  None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.

When the girls get their bill, outcome the pocket calculators.

MONEY

• A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
• A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need but it's on sale.

BATHROOMS

• A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel.
• The average number of items in the typical woman's bathroom is 337 A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.

• Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favorite foods, secret fears and hopes and dreams.

A married man should forget his mistakes.  There's no use in two people remembering the same thing!

It’s so easy to vote illegally in Nevada. All a non-citizen has to do is go the DMV and ask.

The DMV uses the same form regardless of whether you’re getting a driver’s license, ID card or driver’s authorization card. The latter are for those, like illegal aliens, who can’t meet the proof of identity requirements for the other documents. At the bottom of that form is a voter registration application.

The voter registration form asks if you’re a citizen and if you’re old enough to vote. What’s to stop someone from lying? Nothing and no one.

You could get a driver’s authorization card and tell the clerk that you’re an illegal alien. The DMV would still send your paperwork to the county registrar.

“The only reason we can deny taking it is because it’s not signed,” said DMV spokeswoman Alex Smith. This isn’t the Legislature’s fault. It’s a federal requirement under the National Voter Registration Act. There’s some rationale to that. The DMV exists to issue driver’s licenses, not confirm citizenship on voter registration forms. Plus, the DMV is far from the only place people register to vote.

The problem is that election officials don’t check citizenship either. Completed voter registration forms go to the county registrar’s office, which sends the data to the secretary of state’s office. The voter registration form does ask for an ID card number and Social Security number. The secretary of state’s office tries to confirm the validity of those to verify identity — not citizenship.

This is inadequate, because non-citizens can legally receive licenses and Social Security numbers.

“There are 21,676 driver’s licenses and ID cards held by people in Nevada who are not legally eligible to vote,” said Sen. Ben Kieckhefer, R-Reno, last year on the Senate floor.

But wait. The verification system is even weaker. “If a voter does not have a valid Nevada driver’s license/identification card or a Social Security number, the voter must sign an affidavit attesting to this fact and provide alternate proof of identification and residency before being allowed to vote,” says the SoS website. Neither ID nor residency proves citizenship.

There’s also evidence that non-citizens have voted. One year ago, Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske’s office briefly sent the state into an uproar by announcing it had evidence that three non-citizens had voted. Cegavske’s office hasn’t backed away from the claim, but it’s not sharing any details either. There is an “ongoing investigation into that topic, but that’s really all I can say about it,” said Wayne Thorley, deputy secretary of state for elections, when asked recently.

In 2012, the Review-Journal’s Glenn Cook interviewed two illegal immigrants who said the Culinary union pressured them to register to vote. They also said there were other non-citizen Culinary workers registered to vote.

Mention this, and Democrats will dismiss you as a conspiracy theorist or downplay the number of cases as minuscule. The left acts as if illegal voters will simply announce that they’ve committed voter fraud, which is a felony, after each election cycle so society can determine the seriousness of the issue. That’s laughable. Because no one requires voters to prove citizenship — not once, ever — no one knows if the number of illegally registered voters in Nevada is three or 30,000.

That’s because if you want to vote illegally as a non-citizen, the only thing stopping you is you. That’s not good enough.

Motorist fatally stabbed truck passenger who spit on his BMW: Police

A Florida man was arrested late Thursday after a road rage confrontation in Tampa turned deadly.

Teddy Smith, 44, allegedly became enraged when Gilbert Serna, who was a passenger in a truck, apparently spit on his BMW Wednesday morning.

Serna, 56, had a habit of spitting out of the window, his sister told ABC station WFTS.

But when the truck and Smith's BMW were stopped on Fowler Avenue about 11 a.m., the spitting led to an argument.

That's when Smith allegedly stabbed Serna in the upper body, according to the police report.

Teddy Baltimore Smith, 44, is pictured in this mugshot. Smith was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder, April 5, 2017, Tampa Police announced in a press release.more +

 The police performed CPR on Serna but he died from his injuries at the hospital.

Smith, meanwhile, fled, police said. The driver of the truck gave chase, but he eventually stopped at the corner of W 109th Avenue and N Ashley Street.

Sometime afterward, Smith went to the District Two substation to talk to police. He told them that “he shouldn’t have spit on.”

At that time, Smith wasn’t arrested and was told that he could leave at any time.

But late Wednesday, the police located the BMW and on Thursday they arrested Smith after a short foot chase, Tampa police said.

He was charged with second-degree murder, police said.

Be sure to read Scene 3. Quite interesting. This is a new one. People sure stay busy Trying to cheat us, don't they?

SCENE 1.

A friend went to the local gym and placed his belongings in the locker.   After the workout and a shower, he came out, saw the locker open,  and thought to himself,   'Funny, I thought I locked the locker...   Hmm, 'He dressed and just flipped the wallet To  make sure all was in order.  Everything looked okay - all cards were in place...  A few weeks later his credit card bill came - a whooping bill of $14,000!   He called the credit card company and started yelling at them, saying that he did not make the transactions.  Customer care personnel verified that there was no mistake in the system And  asked if his card had been stolen...'No,' he said, but then took out his wallet, pulled out the credit card, and yep - you guessed it - a switch had been made.  An expired similar credit card from the same bank was in the wallet.  The thief broke into his locker at the gym and switched cards.

Verdict:  The credit card issuer said since he did not report the card missing earlier, he would have to pay the amount owed to them.  How much did he have to pay for items he did not buy?   $9,000! Why were there no calls made to verify the amount swiped?  Small amounts rarely trigger a 'warning bell' with some credit card companies.  It just so happens that all the small amounts added up to a big one!

SCENE 2.

A man at a local restaurant paid for his meal with his credit card. The bill for the meal came, he signed it and the waitress folded the receipt And  passed the credit card along.  Usually, he would just take it and place it in his wallet or pocket.  Funny enough,  though, he actually took a look at the card and, lo and behold, it was the expired card of another person. He called the waitress and she looked perplexed. She took it back, apologized, and hurried back to the counter under the watchful eye of the man.  All the waitress did while walking to the counter was wave the wrong expired card to the counter cashier, and the counter cashier immediately looked down and  took out the real card.  No exchange of words -- nothing!    She took it and came back to the man with an apology.. (This scenario actually happened to me at a local restaurant)

Verdict:    Make sure the credit cards in your wallet are yours. Check the name on the card every time you sign for something and/or the card is taken away for even a short period of time. Many people just take back the credit card without even looking at it, 'assuming' that it has to be theirs. 

FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, DEVELOP THE HABIT OF CHECKING YOUR CREDIT CARD  EACH TIME IT IS RETURNED TO YOU AFTER A TRANSACTION!

SCENE 3:

Yesterday I went into a pizza restaurant to pick up an order that I had called in. I paid by using my Visa Check Card which, of course, is linked directly to my checking account.  The young man behind the counter took my card, swiped it, then laid it on the counter as he waited for the approval,

which is pretty standard procedure.

While he waited, he picked up his cell phone and started dialing.  I noticed the phone because it is the same model  I have, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary.  Then I heard a click that sounded like my phone sounds

when I take a picture.   He then gave me back my card but kept the phone

in his hand as if he was still pressing buttons.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking:  I wonder what he is taking a picture of,  oblivious to what was really going on.   It then dawned on me: the only thing there was my credit card, so now I'm paying close attention to what he is doing.

He set his phone on the counter, leaving it open.   About five seconds later, I heard the chime that tells you that the picture has been saved.  Now I'm standing there struggling with the fact that this boy just took a picture of my credit card.   Yes, he played it off well, because had we not had the same kind of phone, I probably would never have known what happened. Needless to say, I immediately canceled that card as I was walking out of the pizza parlor.  All I am saying is, be aware of your surroundings  at all times.  Whenever you are using your credit card take caution and don't be careless.   Notice who is standing near you and what they are doing when you use your card.  Be aware of phones, because many have a camera  phone these days.

LET'S GET THE WORD OUT! JUST BE AWARE.  NEVER LET YOUR CARD OUT OF YOUR SIGHT...  CHECK AND CHECK AGAIN!

Though the tweet was deleted, Planned Parenthood Keystone chief Melissa Reed stands by it. “Planned Parenthood believes that pop culture . . . has a critical role to play in educating the public and sparking meaningful conversations around sexual and reproductive health issues and policies, including abortion,” she said in a statement to Fox News.

Feminist critics have been waging war on Disney princesses since the 1990s, and they’re gaining ground. Peggy Orenstein’s 2011 best seller, “Cinderella Ate My Daughter,” called the fairy-tale heroine a symbol of “the patriarchal oppression of all women.”

Disney has been listening. In 2016 the company launched the Dream Big, Princess campaign, which recasts Ariel as a speed-swimming champion, Rapunzel as a gymnast and Cinderella as a dance prodigy. In an obvious nod to the feminist notion that traditional princesses are “damsels in distress,” Disney has edited out the princesses’ signature inner virtues of integrity, courage, optimism and heart, and replaced them with feminist-approved—but ultimately shallow—physical achievement.

Ariel’s main achievement is no longer her willingness to sacrifice for her dreams, but rather her skill as a swimmer. Instead of courageously standing up to the people holding her back, Rapunzel is now celebrated for her ability to use her hair as a lasso. Instead of moral strength in the face of adversity, Cinderella’s claim to fame is now her impeccable ballroom dancing. If these qualities represent anything other than physical strength and dexterity, the ad campaign offers no way to know.

All this completely misunderstands what fairy-tale princesses mean to little girls. Heroines who value physicality over morality might advance feminist ideology, but they’re not princesses. In any fairy tale, the princess signifies the feminine ideal. Her true heart, inner courage and pure motives are tested but never compromised. If a Disney princess were depicted having an abortion, it wouldn’t come across as merely a personal choice. Rather, it would imply that having an abortion is an expression of feminine goodness.

Girls intuitively understand the ethical symbolism of princesses. In an article for Psychology Today, Susan Scheftel, a professor of medical psychology at Columbia, argues that a little girl who loves princesses is casting herself as “the beautiful heroine of her own story.” These girls aren’t succumbing to an outdated representation of women that needs to be rewritten. They’re tapping into feminine wisdom that has helped girls grow into women for thousands of years.

Feminist groups want to reimagine Disney princesses in their own image, using the princesses little girls love as tools for propaganda. Planned Parenthood selling abortion as a feminine ideal is the ultimate villainous ruse. Like Snow White’s wicked stepmother, they want to offer girls a poisonous idea in a bright, appealing package.

JUDGE FORCES TRUMP ADMIN TO PROVIDE ABORTIONS FOR ILLEGALS  April 1, 2018

HHS ‘strongly maintains that taxpayers are not responsible for facilitating the abortion of unaccompanied minors who entered the country illegally…’

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services may appeal a court decision requiring the Trump administration to provide abortions for pregnant, illegal teens in federal custody, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

Though the Trump administration says it has no duty to facilitate abortions, a federal judge in Washington, D.C. found new government policy respecting pregnant minors in immigrant detention likely places an undue burden on abortion access.   “The Department of Health & Human Services strongly maintains that taxpayers are not responsible for facilitating the abortion of unaccompanied minors who entered the country illegally and are currently in the government’s care,” an HHS spokesperson told TheDCNF. “We are working closely with the Justice Department to review the court’s order and determine next steps.”   Current Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) policy requires pregnant minors to obtain written, notarized permission from their parents before terminating a pregnancy.      They also must submit for an ultrasound and meet with an options counselor.   No abortions can proceed without the approval of agency Director Scott Lloyd.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, an Obama appointee,  ruled late Friday the directives likely violate the Constitution.(???)    Chutkan also granted the lawsuit class status, allowing all illegal pregnant minors in federal custody — now or in the future — to join the effort and obtain relief from administration policy.    The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) organized the effort.

Susan B. Anthony List, a pro-life political advocacy group, accused Chutkan and ACLU lawyers of exploiting taxpayers, government workers, and vulnerable women to promote a pro-choice agenda. 

“For abortion extremists it is not enough that abortion on-demand is legal through all nine months of pregnancy,” SBA List told TheDCNF. “The abortion lobby, the ACLU, and pro-abortion ideologue judges like Tanya Chutkan are on a mission to force American taxpayers to facilitate abortions for vulnerable women and teen girls coming into the U.S. illegally.”    “We stand firmly behind Secretary Azar, Scott Lloyd and others who seek to protect the life and dignity of all people in HHS’ care, born and unborn, and commend the Trump administration for refusing to be intimidated,” they added.
